Hmm yes that is true and i would have never had actually offered him $1500 any ways but from all i could say if no one knew him he could have been a guy who dosent really care much about datsuns and couldn't care less to what happens to it and just sees it as an average car. Hey guys, we were recently driving through seaton area in Adelaide when we stopped at the lights i looked to my left a saw a lime green datsun 240z sitting behind these gates, my friend has been telling me about this datsun but i didn't know it was this one, he recons it has been there for awhile now, and just wanted to know if any one knew who's datsun it is or seen it before. Here are some pictures, the car is located just before the train crossing on tapleys hill road when driving towards glenelg, its at some battery place. Cooper

Im with you guys on that, i would like to get something like that, but im starting to think that i should get a datsun 260z or something as a project car, since now i have a place were i can store it with out any one hassling me Hopefully something nice will pop up around my birthday that isnt to dear but im just thinking of having a daily car and then a datsun 260z has a project car untill i get it road worthy then sell the daily and use the datsun as my daily if not i would just keep both. Unless something clean come up ill just try and get that unless dad gets all worked up about it and wont let me get it. Cooper

I think it was some really thin sheet metal wrapped around and then held on with hose clamps hahaha. He wanted $1500. Thats what i was thinking but he said he never had time to do it up and said it has been like that since he bought it. The car has been sitting like that in his shed and his wife wanted him to sell it so yeah. I think he just hates the idea of having a old datsun, but every one else thinks it would be awesome and all that stuff hahah. Cooper

Well i went to visit the datsun today, although i would of had no chance in getting, plus it would have been a bit of a project which is alright, don't think it would have taken to much to get on the road, but any who i got some pictures of the car, they are in pretty crappy quality but on the left hand side door there was a bit of rust along the bottom, which was the worst place, from what i saw and there wasn't much rust in the wheel arches, it would have been better to stay there longer and have been there during the day but we had to go, and from this night i have found out how much Dad dosent like datsun hahah :/ When i saw the exhaust i had abit of a giggle about it, would defiantly need a new exhaust haha Cooper

Thanks thriller, ill have my phone with me and ill try and get some pics of it, hopefully nothing should be to bad but if i did get this, it would be a long term project.
