Nice price too Gav...love the dash, that idea would certainly solve the problem of cracks in mine...still don't know how I'm gunna fix 'em, it's real worry

yes, the speedo is from a 280Z, just not a 280ZX.

 

The seppos got 260 shells with injected L28's to beat their pollution laws. And the S30 cars were homologated for racing with L28's as an option from the very first 240 shell, well it could be retrospectively fitted as an option anyway ;D

On the hunt for the elusive zed i found these on sydney gumtree

 

260z unfinished project with rb25det. Has 280zx front brakes & standard drums on rear.

No pics supplied.

spoke to the guy yesterday, needs exhaust, intercooler & intake piping fabricated. plus i imagine a whole lot more to get it to pass engineering & on the road, might be of interest to someone.

also a 74 260z 2+2

although 15k seems a bit much for a auto 2+2 with ony a week or so rego.

Japan Auction 260Z has some interesting toys on it. 　Probably not worth the cost to import a 260 tho (no offence intended)

If anyone seriously interested can translate condition report.

I'm almost certain that's the same 260z that I first saw many moons ago and made me want a S30 Z. It was a neighbors car and I used to walk past it everyday and imagine having my own Z some day.
