  4. Im in the process of screwing an L28 together and am looking for a few bits to complete Looking for a rear bowl sump - the one I have has a level sender that oozes oil And a single row crank pulley/balancer - not fussy on condition, will re-build if required. Cheers Tim

  8. By vacuum, tank you mean brake booster? As Scoota says it all depends on the manifold being used. Generally speaking though there will be a balance tube to tap into for the booster.
  9. Oh well worth a try! Looks like mine will have to be 100mm off the deck, with ZG falres, wats and an RB30 then. It would be nice to have the patience and budget to do a faitfull restoration, but considering whats already done to my car its not really worth it. Big dolars will be a low mile original 240z, hub caps and all. Next best seems to be a well built, well sorted 2 seater wether it be 240 or 260. Given the platform you have to start with your well on your way

  18. After spending the last couple of weeks working at Port Campbell I would have to say the GOR, especially the section west of Lavers Hill to Princetown. Brisbane North - A circuit up the Mount Glorious/Nebo/Mee along the D'agular Highway through Montville and down to Sunny Coast. Brisbane South - The Numinbah Valley road to Murwillumbah or the Lions Road.

  20. Not sure what your application is but a fairly cheap way to get a locking centre is from these guys. I have been looking in to it but have not purchased one, so I can not comment on the operation. http://www.4wdsystems.com.au/index.php?id=29 They have a 29 spline unit for the r200 a 27 spline unit for the r180 but unfortunately no 25 spline units yet - fingers crossed.

  22. I have been looking at the Kmac items. http://www.k-mac.com.au/ No mods needed to the strut top - well priced. Ultimately probably not as much adjustability as hacking the strut top. But with some eccentric bushes in the lower mounts it should be enough to get things right.
  23. I dont know its technical name but I need to stick it back on. My car was attacked by the back of a Patrol ute and it came off second best. I have bashed the panel into some sort of shape, but the filler panel thingy was torn 90% off in the attack! Now without access to a spot welder what would be the best way to attach this part. I was thinking of bonding it firstly with Sikaflex and then drilling some small holes in the outer skin and tacking with a MIG through the holes? My panel beating history is this! So any advice would be appreciated.
  24. I must say that after seeing Dimitri's engine build (Intake mainly) It really got me thinking about my ideal Z car engine. I wish I paid more attention at school!
