Its a good event, nice and laid back. Its a pretty tight run though, it uses some of the local kart track. There are some fast bits of kit hiding in the northern rivers! To get the most out of it try and get some r comp tyres they make all the difference.

Thanks guy's I do remember hearing about a rear nut that has been know to come loose. What options are there for synchros - I believe it is a z box with Brass synchros. Is there any aftermarket options or is genuine only?

As the title sudjusts, My gearbox will throw out of 5th when under a fair bit of load. I am about to pull it out and do the bearings and seals, and am looking to get some advice on what to look for to fix this problem?

Re -hashing an old thread. I am about to embark on this excersise and am wondering if any of the 510/1600 brackets available in OZ would suit? After a lot of searching on 1600 websites it appears that using the r31 brackets modified slightly e.g. different PCD and larger hole for axle works for them. These same mods seem to work for the s30 as well? I can confirm the PCD of the backing plates is the same 240/1600 so the only question is offset? Has anyone done this mod with 1600 brackets?

Hi, I quick intro! I have been trawling this and other sites for years now and figure I should become active. Plus I have some questions that I cannot find answers to! I have had my 73' 240z for 15 years now and have seen it through a few different colours and dints! - I am just about to get serious with it though. I am currently running an l28 with a lumpy cam and tripple 40mm mikuni PHH's. I love these carby's but they are a pain to get parts for so I think some 45/47mm OER's are on my shopping list. Any who, I live in Geraldton WA currently probably soon to be the Otway region in Vic and hope to put some faces to names in the future. Cheers, TB
