  5. any offers on these last bits??
  6. you'd have to get the bellhousing cut and shut. So cut off the original front part of the bellhousing and then welding on the front part of an L series bell housing. I was going to keep it and do this to mine but thats probably never going to happen haha. me and my big plans. you'd then need to fab up a gearbox mount and get a tailshaft made or use the end that comes with the gearbox, welded on to your current tailshaft. There is a thread on this site somewhere with lots of details on whats needed to get the bellhousing done. Just about any machining shop might be able to do it though? 6-speed manual 1st gear ratio 3.626 2nd gear ratio 2.200 3rd gear ratio 1.541 4th gear ratio 1.213 5th gear ratio 1.000 6th gear ratio 0.767

  10. Mossy if your feeling up to sending it up to brisbane, I'll buy just the hatch without the glass or the spoiler. Mine is really badly rusted out Gav can jump in on the spoiler if he still wants to buy it?
  11. good job mate! looks very clean and the gauges suit the dash I reckon
  12. i'm keen for the window frames but then I saw you have pick up only any chance you could drop them off at a pack and send shop??
  13. you get really hung up on that d3c0y, just let it go buddy... let it goooooo
  14. haha yeah! its so pimp!
  15. Somebody has to buy this! http://www.boostcruising.com.au/advert/2300249-1972-Mercedesbenz-280s-for-Sale.html its a 1972 Mercedes with an L28! what do you guys think about it? I found it quite interesting
  16. I've actually had an ITB set up finished using a triple weber manifold and rb26 itb's. Unless you can do the machining and welding yourself its cheaper to buy a ready made kit. I'm pretty sure my total cost just for the itb setup is around 3k and the biggest cost was getting it all together and set up. If i was doing this again I would just buy an OER kit. I still have to buy an ECU, different injectors, coil packs, make the wiring loom etc etc. It's not a cheap conversion! for the trigger I've got an L28et dizzy with optical disc. should work alright once it's all together take a look at my last post on this thread and you can see what it looks like http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,12893.msg138049.html#msg138049 good luck!
  17. awww no worries, thanks anyway!
  18. there has been one kicking around on Yahoo Japan. little bit pricey.... http://page10.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/jp/auction/m114023113&thumb=http://auctions.c.yimg.jp/img339.auctions.yahoo.co.jp/users/6/1/0/8/truth_12_10-thumb-1369819702619604.jpg&title=GT%20R%
  19. you sure you don't want to post? I'm mighty keen on the window frames even if you take them to pack n send i'd be happy to pay for it
  20. If you grab all that stuff Scoota I'm happy to pay for the bonnet and freight
  21. someone buy this! http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Datsun-240Z-260Z-Interior-exterior-parts-panels-guards-bonnets-suspension-/181208460910 then sell me the bonnet
  22. So not much going on with the car until I get paid some more. need to buy rust panels and a decent welder. what I wanted to show you guys is the rb26 itb set up that millenium motorsports just finished putting together. I originally started with the weber intake manifold, itb assembly and adapter plates. turned out pretty sweet. the velocity stacks aren't tapered but that's ok its not for a big hp engine. in the end IT IS CHEAPER TO BUY A KIT FROM OER OR EFI HARDWARE. Just wanted to make that point clear! unless you have all the gear to make it all work that is. The weber intake has a high silica content so it was pretty hard to weld cleanly. All thats left for me to finish it off is drill ports in each runner so I can run a vacuum tank, pull it apart, clean and paint. once its all going in the car (not for ages yet) I've got to get an ecu, wire it up and get it tuned. For now its just playing with the throttle and making car noises with my mouth...
  23. They do look pretty good when they've got a good body kit on them. Thats why I was looking at them. I saw a couple of mean looking ones. If you beefed up the RB it'd go hard like any skyline. The s15 6 speed does have its flaw with the 3rd/4th retainer circlip but it comes down to how you drive more than anything. I read about it heaps and heaps because I was worried about it. Some guys with decent HP numbers still had their 6 speeds with no problems. If your going to put a bigger turbo and go drifting its not that great. if you put cheap tires on and go drifting with stock turbo its fine. GKTECH has nearly finished development of an alloy bellhousing to fit a z32 or r33 gearbox to an SR. plus there is all the adapter kits. all money and time in the end. I didnt change my 6 speed because i've still got stock turbo. its just running on 1 bar boost. no probs. if you get an s15 with the 6 speed, you could always swap it for a 5 speed then fit the 6 speed to your Z
  24. was there any manual late model stags? I've driven one of the older ones with the rb25.. it was a land boat with a slush box so I didnt buy it. the guy wanted to straight swap for my s15! I haven't driven a newer one but I've heard they are way way better than the old ones. I'm biased though. I say get an s15 I've had mine for 6 years and had jack all wrong with it. All i've had to replace is the starter motor and the steering wheel airbag (common problem) but in your case coming from a 180sx it wouldnt be much of a change. just newer
  25. Any luck finding a Z32? or have we all just confused you by saying you should get this and that?
