Look if he cons people to pay him $1000 deposit he could make a fair few grand a month cash. My uncle copped it for a Harley, the guy had it up cheap and he said he was going interstate and asked for a deposit direct to his account. 6 months later and my uncle couldn't get a cent back. This 240z originally left the factory in green and still retains its matching numbers engine, early style hatch, early steering wheel and most of the other early bits which make it differ from most 240z's. The car is 95% complete, the engine runs and this car is an ideal candidate for a restoration for a show car or nice drive car. over all there is minimal rust for a 240z, there has been some average repairs done in the past but overall the car is pretty solid and doesnt appear to have been involved in any major accidents. The bonnet, hatch and I think one of the doors still needs some rust repair, but the sections in lighter coloured primer have been repaired by a local and respected shop. Many of the parts have the expected wear and tear so it's not a resto for the faint hearted, but good value at $16k IMO. Matching numbers too (the engine is stored elsewhere so I can't vouch for this!) Quote
