Administrators gav240z Posted March 13, 2014 Administrators Posted March 13, 2014 Yeah I know, my ash-tray lid is missing the handle part, but I'm thinking about using blu-tac to create a mould and then using fiberglass resin or even melted ABS plastic to create the handle itself and just epoxy gluing it all together. Then spray it all black (using that Duplicolour stuff I used on rest of the console) and bob's your tea pot. I can't see myself spending $300+ for an ash-tray. Knowing my luck though I'll go to all that effort to create a good enough replacement and then someone will list a good second hand 1 on eBay for a decent price a week later. Like I say, bring on the 3D printers . Quote
