So will need resurfacing. The other is running but he said it has a timing issue, suspects carb or distributor issue. Both engines are F54 / N42 combo's he quoted me $150 for a long motor. I was going to take a punt on the running motor but at this stage I might stick with the original plan and rebuild my L28. Posting it here so someone can potentially grab a bargain. Quote

They 'seem' like they are in good condition - cadmium plating still in tact and polished domes. However I would factor in a rebuild kit for all carbs mentioned here. You can do a lot with the original OEM SU's. Well worth the money if you're still running the flat top 260z ones. Quote
