Cars For Sale (3rd Party Sites) Ebay, Carsales etc..
GongZ replied to gav240z's topic in Cars For Sale
I was going by the 'date received' of 5/9/73. Apart from Riceburner's car (HS30-103771 11/1973), all the latest 240Z's I have seen (including Shaun240's car HS30-103781) have a 9/73 compliance date. So I still think it's possible that it was the last ship. -

The shipping details are interesting. I wonder if that was the last shipment of 240Z's to Australia? -
Nice work!

Curtis has #211 listed on Gumtree 1970 240z #211 $24,000 Byron Bay, NSW https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/byron-bay/cars-vans-utes/1970-240z-211/1180637293 "Selling on behalf of a friend is this rare early series 1 matching numbers 240z. This 240z originally left the factory in green and still retains its matching numbers engine, early style hatch, early steering wheel and most of the other early bits which make it differ from most 240z's. The car is 95% complete, the engine runs and this car is an ideal candidate for a restoration for a show car or nice drive car. Over all there is minimal rust for a 240z, there has been some average repairs done in the past but overall the car is pretty solid and doesn't appear to have been involved in any major accidents. Genuine enquires are welcome and these cars are becoming harder to find. Please note the hubcaps pictured do not come with the car" -
It would be a WA car - the guy who posted it is from WA and all the other cars in his photos have WA plates.

Hi Youhan, I just saw your the photo of the inside of your car here; http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/17125-s30-seat-rails/?do=findComment&comment=203051 - and wondered if you are aware of the fact that you should fit a clutch pedal stop. See this topic; http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/11780-clutch-pedalstop/ Now would be a good time to fit one.

Today's examples are; - corinnbrad_0 - michaela.ivonne2021 - montastesteph The email has changed to martin33@hotmail.com The items (about 130) are the same and the prices don't change. -

Welcome to the forum Paul. Photos are always appreciated here and might help to show what parts you will be needing. (tip - click on the "More Reply Options" button to see the "Choose File", "Attach This File" & "Add To Post" buttons) -
They look excellent Aaron. The only comments I have are; - the white line at the top of the "Biggest in Australia" decal goes at the very top edge. - the two short lines inside the circle (of the symbol between "Capitol" and "Motors") are too thick.

Here are the dimensions (mm); They are two separate stickers and the white line across the top of the "Biggest in Australia" sticker is 0.7mm thick. My stickers have deteriorated badly since I took the photo, so I would be interested in new stickers too please.

Hi Aaron, How about this?... This is on my late 73' which the previous owner purchased 'from the showroom floor' at Capitol Motors. (As you can see - it is black and white) Now I suppose you will want me to measure it for you

One owner Datsun 260Z (1976 2+2 manual) (two owners really, if you read the description) $21,500 Negotiable Hurstville NSW https://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/hurstville/cars-vans-utes/one-owner-datsun-260z/1179859357 "Up for sale is a Datsun 260Z 2+2 in original and unrestored condition. As such, the car is a little tired but a true survivor. I am the second owner and I am reluctantly selling and know it’ll be a decision I’ll most likely end up regretting. As you can see in the photos, it does have thorough documentation and originality from its first owner. It had been sitting for a few years in the old lady's garage, as such, I have spent a fair amount of money getting it road worthy again: brand new tyres, carbs cleaned and tuned, oil and all filters changed, dizzy cleaned, new spark plugs, brake pads, brake bleed and new battery. I have ordered the number plates [260 – ZED] which will also be sold with the car. This is a genuine Z and one that hasn’t been raced or modded and is priced accordingly." -

The connector with the green wire (shown circled below) is the 'loopback connector' which can be removed and used for a hazard light switch. See this topic for details; http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/6506-240z-hazard-switch/
