Can anybody enlighten me as to how (if) this capacity is achievable? (are you there C.A.F.?)

They are 240Z seat covers, so not original to the car.

I like that it has the roof pillar badges in the same place as the original and the Z logo looks identical. If I heard correctly, the engine is a 3 litre twin turbo, and I assume that it's a V6.

Does the plan to achieve originality include deleting the blinker repeaters from the front guards and sourcing the correct (all white) front blinkers?

Yes - a few problems with the description versus the photos too; "Datsun 240z 1971 series II #958" - I've never seen a '71 with '73 front blinkers "Earlier car with choke and hand throttle" - there is no hand throttle "Ratty paint but solid body" - the paint looks pretty good "5-speed manual with L28 engine and 240z carbs" - the car is an auto "Originally safari gold in colour, currently canary yellow" - it's brown!
