    The o rings look like this: Apparently, there is a small o ring and a large o ring in the part that mounts in the transmission. The inner small o ring stops fluid from going in the cable and large one seals in the gearbox. I have done some research as I need to do mine. Yes, you may find something suitable from other industrial suppliers. Nissan may have them too.

    The first "wanted" post ever by you, Dimitri?? Could you use a gland nut from another 55mm strut insert and modify it?

    You need to replace the o-rings. There are 2 of them. You can get them from MSA or reddat.

    I wasn't planning on a Melbourne trip in the Z, but a weekend away with fellow zed freaks does sound good. Interested in a road trip Mick?

    The only difference you will notice taking the air box off is more induction noise. No power difference.

    Still yet to take the zed for a decent spin as the carbon bonnet is flexing too much. I am missing the bonnet bumpers that go along the fender to keep it secure. They have been ordered and won't be long now. I have been debating for a while whether to paint the front spoiler body colour or keep it black. Well, i did finally paint it and am really glad I did. As you can see with before and after pics, it gives it a more completed look. With the fender emblems, the exterior is now complete

    This is a link to the whole movie "Wangan Midnight" with English subtitles. Every zed owner has to watch this. It is hilarious. It's about a 240Z that is haunted and keeps killing it's owners in car smashes and getting restored again. It's a 2+2 when a wreck at the start of the movie and then a 2 seater when restored..... They pop the bonnet and there is an L series with triple carbs and the guys says, oh it's twin turbo Anyone seen it yet?

    Alex, have you still got too much oil in the engine? If so, drain it to proper level and see if that fixes oily plugs.

    MSA has released a new air dam called ZG works. Come in CF or fiberglass. What are your thoughts people?

    I love to see zeds haul arse on the race track, but that day is bad for me. No can do. We should definitely organise this sort of thing for another time.

    Mini project?? Are you sure. ? I like the early RX-7's. Similar shape and style to the zed.
