    Wanted Grille

I have a grill. Actually I have 2. One is excellent, the other is good for the trash. You can have the bad one for free. Good one $200.
  3. That thought crossed my mind but your right, it would be strange since the control arms don't do that. The inside diameter of my crossmember holes is 34mm. Does anyone have a 240/260Z crossmember they can measure for me to compare? The polyurethane bush diameter is 30mm. ZZZZed, did you reuse the outer sleeve on the original bushing?
  4. Is it possible that a 240k transmission crossmember was used with the 240K gearbox and these are slightly different to the 240/260Z crossmembers?
  5. Hi Guys, This one has me totally beat. I am replacing my transmission crossmember bushings with Energy Suspension Polyurethane. We pressed out the old ones, but the new ones don't fit properly. They are loose not snug like they should fit. I have checked the part number and they are the correct ones. What is going on here?? Has anyone else had this problem? It is a 240K gearbox, but the crossmember should still be original. HELP.
  6. Very nice looking machine. I see many really nice wheels in the US but assume postage to Aus would be ridiculous. How much did MSA charge on postage, if you don't mind me asking?
  7. Another cruise sounds like a great idea, but not for another month or so for me. My car is getting some polyurethane therapy and it's my first time so taking me a while. :-\ I was going to wait till winter to do this, but Bob Jane couldn't loosen the left tie-rod nut to do a wheel alignment. They didn't realise it's a left hand thread and were doing it up tight. I had to take the steering rack out and get it off with a vice. It was all the reason I needed to start giving some TLC to the underside. Are both of your 240Z's out of action John?
  8. Thanks. I have some photos without my front spoiler: http://www.thezgarage.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1422&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight= It is a 90's hyundai paint code HD

  10. Hi Guys, I have been reading posts for quite some time now so i thought I would get off my arse and join. I have had my blue 260Z for about 15 years now and have been on the Z Garage for a couple of years too. I look forward to helping each other keep our cars on the road and healthy......
