  1. Mine is #728 and had the forward mounted diff.
  2. Surely a piss take....... "Same motor as the Famous Bathurst wining Nissan "Gonzilla" but without the Twin Turbo chargers"
  3. Struggling to take this guy seriously....do admire his can do attitude....but talk about doing it arse about
  4. ...and I still don't understanding reasoning for it. Sure the engine needs to go back but sump issues aside the cross-member and wheels can stay where they are???
  5. Same here. I thought this guy is serious and might just have the skills to do this but then he lost me with wheels back 5 inches.
  6. Guys a lunatic....imagine putting a BMW motor in a Z!
  7. Nice wad!
  8. Ducati must be looking pretty close at YourGay's contract....
  9. What a race last night!!! Relentless pressure on Jack from Cal and co so result not unexpected but still a great job. And the rest......more fuel on the fire.
  10. I found the need.....would rate as nearly the best part of the car
  11. I went with their Blue's. Spring rates as per their recommendation (cant recall what they were). Great quality product and service. Only issue I had was the retainer nut for the front struts came too far through the top mounts and was hitting the bonnet frame. They quickly provided redesigned top mounts (with bearings) and problem sorted. On the road they are firm and yet work really well over bumpy roads, not unpleasant on the street. Would bang again.
  12. Love bubble tops....but must be W motor!
  13. Mmmmm....was expecting something a bit more creative from these guys
  14. This whole charade never ceases to amaze me......how the fuck can a head gasket be deemed an asbestos risk. Understand if it is removed but really? The government protecting us from ourselves....thanks guys.
  15. Nearly the best show on YouTube now! Love Al's attitude, and most things he does really well...few cringeworthy moments
  16. Hi Greg. If yours is like mine the filler will have become very rigid and not pliable at all. From memory you will need a heat gun to soften up the top to get it through the hole in the bottom of the 1/4 panel and then again to get it through the hole in the fill flap recess. Once you have it in place you will probably need the heat gun to soften up the area where the neck of the fuel tank goes in the bottom as well. Its a bit of wrestling match but not too hard.
  17. Good stuff Peter. Congrats on the solid proving of the build quality!
  18. Is it just me or do most people find late model Benz's to be ugly AF?
  19. ITB's for sure. OEM's put massive time and development into plenums and single throttle body design for torque and efficiency, You don't have the resources so anything you build could be sub optimum...why don't people use the factory EFI plenum ....probably cos its not very good.
  20. Excellent evening in the hills, thanks for the company Mike.
  21. No need to be that early. 7;00 will be fine

  23. So I went to YVBC last month and its pretty good https://www.facebook.com/YarraValleyChromeBumpers/.....anyone keen to meet up for a quick blat in the hills beforehand and end up at YVCB?
  24. All good, I just need to get around to it! That's a pretty short loop, only 20 minutes if that. I know some good alternatives.
