So where do you get welsh plugs from.

I've been wondering where yOu get small ones like that too for a secret project I'm working on.

I would've thought you'd need more clearance on the inlet side than exhaust? Ever tried to work on a GTR. You must be planning a large high mount with a disco potato Looks awesome.

Yeah this one is slanted to the front but since you mentioned it it could be a little lower height wise. There is a pretty decent storage area inside. You cant really reach the hatch compartment now but it does stop what ever is in the back rolling around or ending up in the cabin when you brake hard. I have a fire extinguisher too which I was going to mount inside the box.

I’ve really been enjoying the sound of my engine whilst driving in the Zed but having no stereo at all is getting to me. Part of the installing process obviously involves finding a spot for the speakers. I discussed this issue with my brother who decided he would make up a custom speaker/sub box that would go behind the seats between the strut towers. The speakers would sit behind each seat and there would be a storage compartment in the middle. He finished it today and brought it round. I think it looks awesome. Now I just need to get some speakers and a head deck. What do you think of it? cheers

Nice work. We don't believe you about the lack of traction on that road, take a video next time Do you think there will be any issues running a dead end fuel rail set up like that. The factory one feeds the middle of both banks, kind of. Pressure might be getting low by the time it reaches the injector closest to the booster. I'm still tossing up how to do mine. Similar to yours but with a tee where the hose meets the passenger side rail which also feeds the rear of the drivers side.

Well those with the keen eye that spotted the small separator Plate between the rb30 head and L series block should very interested. Cheap Crossflow L series anyone?

The one at the top is RB30 with the rockers showing and so are some of the other pics with the evenly spaced exhaust ports. As for the heads with the odd spaced ports?

I just remember reading if the battery is to be mounted in the cabin you need to vent the battery box to the outside but a dry cell makes sense. Have to get me one of those. I need the room to mount my coils and maybe move the engine computer. Usually the positive cable just runs under the carpet to a post in the engine bay and you can run the thick starter motor wire to the body.

What about the battery venting inside the cabin?

Speedflow also have a similar fitting for about $20 I think. As with yours, you have to re-tap the factory rocker thread though, which requires removing the rocker cover etc and possibly damaging nice paint if its already painted. These ones screw straight in. Yours look good though. Did you say $23 for the rocker fitting and the elbow?? I thought elbows alone were much dearer than that. Do you have a good contact Have you set up your catch can yet? And in case anyone is wondering did you just drill straight through the rocker cover for the second breather and run a tap through the hole or weld in a thread to suit. Feel free to put up a pic of your here too. cheers

Ahh sweet, this conversion is news to me. My wiper motor is very slow and doesn't park so I was thinking of getting it re-wired but if a simple replacement is cheaper than that is fantastic. I'll have to learn more about how they park when I proceed with the changeover. Nice work.

We lost power early last night but I've got the genie going and watching the Telly to see the aftermath. Overall I don't think it was that bad. I lost a fence but it could have been much worse. I heard sheets of roofing flapping around then ripping off and flying down the street with sparks flying etc. They are no where to be seen this morning. The river came right up but compared to the predictions we didn't even really get much rain.

I haven't heard how they're going up north, or even how the storm surge is affecting us but we are holding up fine so far. Massive wind. Not too much rain. It sounds like there's fighter jets cruising around at roof top level and the whole house shakes and it howls as big gusts whip over the house.

Thanks guys, I was at work last night watching every update as the crossing mark got further away from cairns and closer to townsville. Then they upgraded it to a 5 so far off the coast meaning its going to be a big 5 by now. Now its about halfway inbetween, if anything this side at Cardwell. We're hearing stories like biggest in one hundred years and worst natural disaster etc. Hearing that body bags have been delivered to evac shelters up and down the coast sends a shiver up my spine. I'll keep you posted....................

Sweet Mary that will be loud. I reckon you'll notice a big improvement in power from your bigger system now as that last one was choking you. Need a vid to when you get time. Make sure you reset the engine computer before your next run so it relearns your new exhaust. That manifold and throttle body will open up with that cam too. Nice price. Did I mention we need a video
