At least you've narrowed it down to lights. I'd check inside the steering colum cover as mentioned and check the amp draw on the battery too.

Have you changed your diet lately. Eating a lot of spicy food perhaps.

As mentioned above if you're only street driving those springs are too hard. I have exactly the same as your set up, same kg springs and even cut down bump stops as you mentioned. New shocks or better ones will help but those are serious racing springs. Looking at footage of my car on the track it sits very flat through corners will little to no roll at all. Just what you want for racing, not for street use.

What kgs or lbs are your springs? Bouncing more than once after hitting one bump would indicate shocks are gone. Define "bobbles"??

Welcome mate. Try http://www.marquenq.com.au/ for a Townsville car club I'm a part of. Regular sprints and motorkahnas and if youre keen a sprint up a mountain with a long way to fall. That would involve a hike from Mackay each time but some people do it, as well as cairns etc.

Man that would be loads of fun and with 600+Nm of torque your car will pull like a steam train the whole way. You will have to think about aero to as small things will make a big difference at that speed.

Youd be surprised but even on lowered zeds the front spoilers still don't hang very low. Not nearly as much as most imports. My car would get up that pretty easy.

Did you say you made your own leads for that? I know the standard lengths are too short to run like that.

My only suggestion at this stage is put a six sided hexagon socket on it as apposed to a more common 12 sided socket. This will reduce the amount it might slip and not round your edges off. Secondly rather than put heaps of load on the plug and slowly stressing the edges, let the ratchet take up the slack then give the handle a good tap with a hammer. The quick impact might break the seal easier than slowly forcing it.

Whhhaaaaaaaaaattttt??? Has the head already been mated to the block or are you setting yourself that challenge. But you're the L series head pro? Why not use an RB bottom end?? So many questions and I'm so intrigued.

Just be careful about plates. I think it is required that all plates must be handed in on the canceling of a vehicles registration. Therefore the carrying and storing of plates that don't belong to a vehicle registered in your name might get you into trouble. Not sure about different states and I know it isn't policed very well but just letting you know. Bit different to the US.

FYI, these tyres are unreal for getting traction off the line in my 300hp manual Zed. I'd almost compare them to the Mickey Thompson Street ET Drag Radials I used to use for my clubsport, but these have the harder racing tyre wall. They did really well on the front at a track day to obvioulsy. I'm chasing two more but cant get hold of the Lgee. Does anyone have his number? I think he has a tyre shop in Dandenong. cheers
