There are no relays there from factory, only if someone has modified it. You do have the flasher can for the indicators but. You do have the horn relay over on the LHS.

Hi all, I made a really dumb decision when I sold the running gear out of my car to sell the original tail shaft and spare one I had. I now need the rear half to make a new one to finish off my conversion. I originally was going to update to a new diff axles but just want the car back up a running. Oops..... Can anyone help me. I live in Mackay QLD so will pay freight and for the shaft if you have one. Any condition will do. Myles

Top daughter you have there. Will help shift it over next weekend. Will give her a hand to get started with installing the motor and drive train out of mine into it. Know a few keen blokes who can sort out the electrics and rust for her as well.

Hi every one. I have this car in my garage and I need to move it on to make room for my 240z project. Bought this car at the start of the year for the Toyota V8 conversion it had. It is a 4/77 model rolling body. It comes with nearly all the bits that are needed to get it back on the road. Just I haven't got the time to get it there. Good points: Has many spare parts including Toyota front and r31 rear disc brake upgrade. Dash, door cards, plastic mounding and interior in good to fair condition. Electric fuel pump and swirl pot, spare set of wheels, original brake parts, race stile bonnet clamps, wheel arch flares, spare front guard, and workshop manual. I can supply a strong l26 motor and 5 speed gearbox but they are still in my 240z. Bad Points: There is some rust in rear drivers side wheel arch and in the hatch. White paint over spay on all the window rubbers.Original front seats are missing. No motor in car at the moment and electric system will need some fixing after being modified for a Toyota V8. And the biggest bad point is that the car is located in Mackay QLD. I am looking for around $1200 with the motor and drive train out of the 240z. I don't really want to sell bits and pieces off the car, I just want it to go to a loving home. Please PM me if you are interested. Thanks Myles

G'day all, I would like to introduce myself as a proud owner of 3/71 240z. After visiting this site a bit over the last 12 month I thought this was a good time to introduce myself and my car. I first fell in love with the 240z after watching one at the Gatton and Pittsworth sprints whack the rest of the field around the ears in the time trials (British racing green 240z from Brisbane). A car that beats up on skylines and porsches is worth owning. I purchased my 240z about 9 years ago from a bloke in Townsville. He had previously bought the car for his son and himself to do up. Things happen and it had a new home in Toowoomba Qld. When we got it home it was in a bit of rough state. It had a previous roo hit on the front LHS, a stuffed fiberglass bonnet and a good dose of rust in the usual places. Inside there was 24 volt air con system out of a truck, but the interior was in a pretty good state. The rust was going to make it hard to get a road worthy so we decided to strip it right back to bare metal and start again. I purchased another 240 for a parts car and a guide to work off as this was my first attempt at doing up a car. After about 18 month I had a rolling shell with a fresh coat of paint and no rust. With the pressures of life and a move to Mackay this is the way it stayed for next 5 years, till one day when my girlfriend and myself where cleaning up in the garage and she put the hard word on me about a wedding...... A deal was made that there was only going to be a wedding if the zed could be one of the wedding cars. It's amazing what the motivation of a female can get done. 1 year later 1 wedding and 1 zed on the road. Work done to the zed includes a combination L24 head and L26 bottom end, Toyota front brakes and R31 rears, lowered springs, adjustable shocks, and new set of wheels. Have given the interior a bit of spruce up with new carpets, sound deading, and covered the plastic parts in vinyl to match the dash and removed the truck air con. A bit about myself. I'm a supervisor for a earthmoving company in the coal mining game and a farmer in another life. After moving to Mackay I have noticed that there are bugger all other zeds around up here. I would like to get involved in a club to meet other like minded people and participate in track days. I'm not sure what's available in central qld. Myles Somerset
