  1. Might be wasting my time but anyone got a replacement RHS door skin for a 2 seater that they might have purchased and never used? Rare Spares tell me they are no longer available although they do still have some LHS skins in stock. If you have one sitting idle and not needed let me know. Roger
  2. 2016 Targa High Country package of our 240.
  3. Jason you have PM.
  4. On board lap from Sunday.
  5. Try this one.
  6. 2 rallies a year and they are two weeks apart. Thrilled. Roger
  7. Another great event at High Country this year with the full range of weather thrown in for good measure. Unfortunately the Siddins had to withdraw just before the start and with Goodwin moving to a 300zx meant we were the only S30 in the main comp although there was a 240 in one of the speed limited categories. We were very happy this year to finish 3rd in Classic GT behind the TR7 of Haysman/Boorman and the Hammond/Dunkerton Jag and I think about 27th outright against all the modern cars too. Only a week now until Classic Adelaide which is shaping up as a good event this year. Roger
  8. Wow, $25k profit in 18 months, beats the markets.
  9. I think he has had to raise the spring platforms to raise the body to the required ride height with the smaller tyre, hence less droop travel left in the shock.
  10. Diff change from 4.3 to 3.9 for me just to keep it off the limiter down the straight, hurts going up the mountain but we're not playing for sheep stations here either. Just have to get through High Country and Classic Adelaide in one piece first.... Roger
  11. Thanks, car is factory auto, did the auto come with a hand throttle? I haven't seen one. Roger
  12. Can anyone identify this console and confirm if it's the right one for my car? Came in my 1971 auto and is fibreglass not plastic which makes me wonder if it's aftermarket or from an early build car. Roger
  13. I'll be back this year, got a trophy to defend. Roger
  14. Sorry! Mike helps me out with my rally car, he certainly knows his stuff and still has a few bits tucked away I think. Has built a couple of engines for me now and has a few new ideas for a possible future build too. Some very skilled guys in that shop who can do everything from standard refurb to complex race builds. Sounds like you're going to have a nice strong car, we must cross paths one day. We'll be running the supersprints at Mallala this Sunday if you're looking for an excuse for a day out. Roger
  15. For engine machining try JH Southcotts 11 Holder Ave Richmond. Also good for head work if you want some performance work done. Roger
  16. Locked dizzy, do you mean locked vacuum advance or locked mechanical advance or both? Roger
  17. So what was the problem?
  18. You mean like this? No, not mine.
  19. My experience with the Taiwanese guards wasn't great, the main pressing was pretty good but the details were lacking. I had to drill out some spot welds around the headlight support and reposition to get decent alignment and the folds where it meets the base of the windscreen weren't very accurate and didn't end in a nice point. All up meant the door gaps weren't that great but for me on a race car fitment it was a better option than repairing old bent and rusted guards.
  20. If I was forced to cut something to remove the tank I'd be cutting the strap, probably easier to replace. Roger
  21. If you have loosened the nut some way already you might be able to lift the strap enough to remove the bolt from the hanger, it's designed to pop out once loose enough. Roger
  22. I'm interested in the door cards please. Roger
  23. I'd shop around.https://www.ecstuning.com/ES2620784/
  24. You can get EBC greens and yellows (yellows are ex US only) and Hawk blues in that size. I've run all the above, the greens are on the edge, the yellows seem fine and the Hawks are good but lousy when cold (grabby). Roger
