    Vapor lock

I meant drive the car and wait till the problem occours again, it may not be vapour lock at all.
  4. This one looks a little different.
  5. They'll either get used to you or move (my neighbour did the latter) short story he has nothing. Best advice is don't poo in your own bed! On another note i've had people get upset at me just parking in the supermarket. Keep a note of it (written) and if they do it again get a restraining order.
  6. I know dale has a spare set, if he actually answers this post i will give him a slab of Cider.

    Vapor lock

Repeat the process and when you do open the fuel door and release the cap. I'm betting the tank is sealed tight and you're creating suction back into the tank causing the fuel pressure to drop. Does it happen more when it's hotter?
  8. Dog legs hey? Can often be worse on the PS as that old battery acid worked it's way down in the early 80's.
  9. Su hitachis and webers will run a similar pressure, when i meant it's not oem i was referencing the fuel pump. Here's a pic (no goats this time)
  10. Perhaps the Nikki item is just a solenoid. It's not oem.
  11. I'm only about 1.5 Hrs from this vehicle if someone want me to go check it out.
  12. Can we talk about this Goat now? I think it's pretty neat
  13. $30 is gooood, now i know i have access to the last one for sale in the state. Perhaps Aus, Muhahahahahahaaaaaaa!
  14. fuzzydropbear, problem with Ballarat is most of the town hibernates in winter and when the sun finally comes out they spend two weeks pointing at it with clubs muttering "what the hell is that".
  15. I know Rob has a spare as i gave it to him with a bunch of suspension parts, thing is he's been very hard to catch up with!
  16. Well that's 3 :-\
  17. Here's a present for you.
  18. The heater matrix is just a rectangular shaped box behind the middle vents, despite it's complex name it's very simple.
  19. In the 260Z take out the air vent panel and the square-ish shaped heater matrix behind it. You'll need to remove the side brackets that mount the front panel. There are 2 screw at the rear of the matrix on the top both left and right side, you only need to loosen them as the matrix only slides over them which also means that the tabs are easy to break so go slowly. Once you have that out you'll have heaps of access. Get a light and a mirror and start feelin around.
  20. Gee that's a chunky monkey of a thing, very tempting. Then i could stroke the V8 and get a top end package
  21. If you don't need to drive it and if it needs some repairs book it into a busy restoration shop. That way it can sit there for six months before they even look at it giving you time to sort something else.
  22. A lot of new members since we did this run with Zeds that are driveable! Get up on this drive, it's one of the best roads to drive in Victoria. You've been looking for a reason to get you Zed out then This is It!! I'll be joining in for sure.
  23. Remove the ballast resistor and join the two connecting wires. Then coil hook up is to the pertronix is simples, hook the black to - and the red to +.
