  1. For what it's worth, here is the date stamp on the dash harness. Your guess is as accurate as any I've come across.
  2. It feels a bit like that at the moment Ian. Possibly add another 5 years if we have a second child...
  3. Thanks all Mum is doing very well after a looong labour. Baby Benjamin is struggling with the difference between a hammer and a spanner when dad asks him to pass a 12mm. He'll get there soon and will be asking for the keys to the Datsun before I know it! He is healthy and happy and we are very chuffed with 'Albrecht'. I'll post a couple of photos when I get home and things settle down.
  4. Loftus Oval carpark is probably easier. Right next to Farnell Av. (RNP entry) and always enough space. https://www.google.com.au/maps/place/Loftus+Oval/@-34.0512078,151.0508907,365m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m2!3m1!1s0x6b12c0d80f526c65:0xc078a48a141a4074
  5. Good stuff Jeff. It will be flatter than on that Mini right? Looks to be in between 918 and 920.
  6. No chance of beating them. They'll be heading back when we're heading south. :-/
  7. I'm in for RNP early morning run. Always a fun cruise down that way.
  8. I thought you had to have a drivers side but passenger was not required.
  9. Congrats Andrew. Looks like a great pick up! Hope to see you at one of the local meets soon.
  10. Just saw the pics on Carsales. Looks mint. Good luck with the sale!
  11. That was quick! Congrats
  12. Great to see some Z's out and about!
  13. Welcome Ash. Hope to see you at an event in the near future.
  14. Any Bunnings or Woolies dock will have them laying around. Just need to find someone that will have the time to drop it off to your freight guy. Where is he based?
  15. I'm out for this one. Can't be too far from home in case the stork comes to deliver a baby. I shall live vicariously through the photos so take plenty please!
  16. Spoke with VinWire this morning. Mine should be ready in a couple of weeks. He hopes. Price has gone up and I'm not surprised. The original quoted amount of $700 seemed ridiculously cheap and what I was told this morning is that that price was for everything except for the dash loom. In any case, it now costs over $1k and possibly more soon as he's reviewing prices. Was a bit vague so best to speak with Paul directly for a firm quote.
  17. Wow, it has been a while. I'll chase them up. Thanks for the reminder Gav. Disappointed to see them take so long. My fault for letting them know I didn't need it anytime soon!

  19. I used to race them a few years back. As everyone says, your ribs and hips might hurt for a week but the grin also lasts for a week.
  20. Reached a significant milestone this week Pete... Paul has all but completed the rust repairs. There are a few small holes which can't be reached until the car is taken off the chassis bench but otherwise we are on to panel and gap work.
  21. York St across from QVB
  22. Tough decision to make but it seems like you've already made it... 10 years ago.
  23. Well done Pete! You've worked hard and deserve to enjoy it for many years to come.
  24. Looks fantastic Gav. Water blasting does the job well.
