Not that I'm in a position at the moment. But I'm wondering if they can add defrost lines? I'd love to get vertical defrost line glass.
I can get them from the US but always a risk of breaking in transit and the defrost elements no longer working.
PS: Believe it or not our AU market clear glass is desired by early 69 build date North American owners due to the fact that the early cars had clear glass (no defrost elements) and this is actually quite rare for them. Of course people restoring early cars will want the Nissan stamping on them, so reproductions won't help in this case.
Cool, my antenna switch in my 71 240z isn't working. Or the motor has failed. Not sure which yet. This is a good solution, but I want to retain the original parts.

I managed to find a few second hand ones in good shape and snapped them up a couple of years ago. As you have noted reproductions are blood money.
Interested to see how this turns out. Do you have any idea of what price would be when finished? Or said another way are you aiming to make them at a certain price point?
What do you mean, not as wide?
Is it getting in the way of anything? I've got Kameari on my 72 and a spare in my cupboard for another Z.
They seem to be regarded as good quality. No idea on dimensions. Can potentially measure it when I get access to it again.
Hmm moisture gets trapped under the sound deadener and may cause rust. Depends on what your doing, but if doing full body resto I'd pull it up. But if not. For now use converted and seal with something like KBS rust seal.
Ripping it up is a pain, but you may find holes in the floor under it. Depends on what you can see on the other side.
But if your still using it regularly and it's not a resto project. Don't open a can of worms (yet).
A friend of mine met a fella who owns #151 and it got me looking at the car again and I noted the engine bay had same markings.
Still don't know what they signify.
Honestly Melbourne is heading down the same population growth crush path. We could seriously derail this thread talking about it. So best we don't. haha.
I nearly bought a house around the corner from Mark. I thought you were further out North West, but I do know a few S30z owners are in the area. Good to know for organising early morning weekend drives to wineries etc..
