But it is an early car. It's got a bloody moon roof also! Too many little details wrong with it in my opinion for it to reach that kind of price in the US.

I *think* and I could be wrong that car was originally red and was on eBay a couple of years ago with the V8 conversion already done. It was listed around $18k from memory. But of course I could be wrong! Yes agreed, but beggars can't be chooser's when supply has run out .

I agree I had a similar problem with my 280zx E12-80 distributor module a few years ago. It just died in the arse, then after towing it home and leaving it a day or so it fired up no problems. Drove to my mates place and as I turn into his street about 15 mins from home it died again. Show us a photo of the aftermarket module if you get 1? Sounds like a decent price

You can also relatively easily get the vinyl skins which could be mounted on this kind of card and would obviously be more durable. Like the doors they are longer than the 2 seater ones. They also have a handle for the rear passengers to open the doors in the upper rear section. Which the 2 seaters don't have / need .

Well if you're looking for feedback I'll tell you that LD28 cranks are quite rare in Australia. They generally cost anywhere from $600 (which is a score) to $1000 (which is the higher end). There are however other options out there depending on budget. So I finished the gear knob finally. The good angle showing the good bit of Chrome at the bottom I found that I couldn't get the polyurethane not to leave a splotchy look, after many tries I found the best method for the best finish is to use fine 000 steel wool between coats then lightly spray a mist (very light), wait 2 hours and spray another thin mist and let it dry. Then steel wool (repeat). This seems to have given it the best glossy look. Next to attach the 5 speed button. I bought a glue gun from Office Works for like $10 or so. When attaching the button make sure the gear knob is done up tight on the shifter. Then glue the button down facing the right direction. If the thread on the gear knob is worn out, you can simply use an epoxy type glue in the thread, then drill a slightly smaller diameter hole and then thread it onto the gear shift lever which will thread it again for you. Thankfully mine wasn't clapped out and still has good internal thread.

My Japanese Market FD RX-7 has English labels/stickers etc.. in many places. Some of them are in Japanese though. So like said above - bit of a mixed bag.

I think they were over looked for a few reasons, first of all they are quite an odd shape with the standard '240k' arches and the front grille - basically the non GTR look. However give them the appropriate GTR 'fruit' and it really brings out the beauty of the design and shape of the coupe. Gives it just the right balance, to me they are a kind of Japanese Muscle car. Already mentioned above ^^ George, it isn't a 1970 though, you can tell by rear hatch and steering wheel. I'd guess a 72/73. Still not a bad price for a project car.

hi mate, I found a spare indicator stalk Looking at it, I'd say it would be easy enough to reverse between LHD and RHD. I don't know if this 1 works or not, but if it does we can work something out.

Size wise I'm fairly positive they are the same.

The Masonite is the part you need. You can get reproduction vinyl kits with the chrome strip and all it is just shaping the Masonite. It might be easier to form out of fiberglass instead and unlike Masonite won't warp from moisture. However and not to deter you, but like many things you'll find you may only save a few bucks by the time you go to all this effort and it may make $600 sound reasonable.
