well after many stuff ups I now have clear on the paint, sure wish I didn't go with 2 pack :-\  I now know one thing I am never, never going to be any good as a spray painter.  :'( got so many runs :o just have to wait for it to dry and try to work out how to fix it, I guess razor blade and polish some how, Question?? do you cut and polish the clear coat

I'm no expert but you would be able to wet rub the clear back and go again?

My mate is a panel beater and he wet rubs them, then cuts and polishes.

Comes up smooth as glass

Well I have been very busy this week I have the front bumper on all the decals and I have polished the paint, rear bumper to go on  damaged some of my paint putting the front bumper on  :'( touch up brush will hide it its down low thank goodness, rubbers and glass to go woo hoo start saving again

Has come up a treat Linton  great lines, panel gaps and the shine! All the extra effort has paid off.

 

I usually put some old explorer socks over my bumper ends before I fit it up, stops any scratches when your doing it alone.

thanks for that I had the bar end bolted on and thought it would be ok but it moved and gouged out some paint ,, saga number 2 I just put the LH mirror on tonight  measured it up so they were both the same just sat in the car and !!!!!! cant see a bloody thing Ha ha! oh well they look good
