Moderators Zedman240® Posted April 5, 2014 Moderators Posted April 5, 2014 If anyone can help me, I have found an old mountain bike in Adelaide on Gumtree, is there anyone who would be able to pick it up for me and partially disassemble and pack into an old bike carton for a courier to pickup? Will obviously be paid for time and effort... bike is only around $40 but I can send through some $$ to cover.. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/adelaide-cbd/bicycles/shogun-mountain-bike-and-trailer/1043287773 Quote
Cozza Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 Sorry I can't help with this one Dimitri but I am interested to see a photo of your plethora of bikes. Is there a particular model or era that you are collecting? Do you ride or restore them? Mick Quote
cracker Posted April 5, 2014 Posted April 5, 2014 What suburb Dimitri? Just says "beach" on the ad. Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted May 2, 2014 Author Administrators Posted May 2, 2014 Grafton is pretty far from Sydney, but if it helps to send the items to my place in Sydney let me know? Quote
wildy55 Posted May 2, 2014 Posted May 2, 2014 Hi gents Just looking at the possibility of getting a couple of panels and a few mechanical bits from kings park (nw melb) to burliegh heads (bottom of the goldie). Anyone trucking around that way and looking to top up their beer stocks? Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted May 2, 2014 Moderators Posted May 2, 2014 Thanks Gav but I contacted the seller and asked about pacing and dropping off at a local depot. Apparently he lives off a gravel road etc.. see what happens.. Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted June 21, 2014 Moderators Posted June 21, 2014 Evening gents... Yet another request for any Queensland members that live in or near Kallangur? I've bought a cheap largescale RC car and unfortunately the seller has been diagnosed with an ilness and he's been a bit hard to get a hold of. Plus he's now spending many days in hospital so it's been pretty hard to arrange a pickup. I've already organised transport, but just need someone to grab the car so my transport guy can pick it up. Can anyone help? Regards Quote
Dingo Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Hey guys I was wondering if someone could help me out. I purchased a something off ebay but the guy wont ship it. So I was wondering if someone close to Mill Park would be able to pick it up and chuck it on a pallet or pass it on to someone heading to canberra for me. I know its a big ask and I will pay for transport and A carton of beer or something. Or even once this product is set up on my mill I could make a part for you. Send us a text if you can help on 0418682838. Quote
George Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 It's worth posting in here as well Dingo. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,7046.300.html Quote
mossy Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 Maybe post what it is too dingo, sounds big if you say pallet, does someone need a ute to pick it up? Quote
dat240z Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 F&^k me you have a hide coming on here and requesting some help from the z communitty. Your conduct with me was dishonest, cowardly and gutless. Even the minor work you did complete was of the poorest quality and needed to be totally re-done. Stop making excuses for all your failings and be a man Dave, its f$&%*%g pathetic. Quote
dat2kman Posted July 18, 2014 Posted July 18, 2014 What, you talking about a pallet load of bean bag filler foam, or a pallet load of diesel engine blcks, to be picked up from Mill Park Bundoora area, and transported to you in ACT. Big difference there! Had any prices/quotes from commercial courier companies? Sometimes those evilbay "bargains" end up costing way way more! Quote

I'm going to throw in two cents worth here. dat240z you already had your say on a previous thread regarding an agreement you had with user name dingo that fell through. Perhaps you can sort this out on a personal level not using a forum as a medium or just let it go. If other people choose to help this bloke out then it's on them and has nothing to do with you or your past dealings with this individual. From my point of view the prior incident is your issue alone. Quote

Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 11, 2014 Moderators Posted August 11, 2014 If anyone could help me, I have a bit of an issue with someone in Kallangur QLD. If there are any members here that live close by, I'm more than happy to pay for any costs involved in going to an address there and picking up an RC car that I have already paid for about 3 months ago. Apparently the seller fell ill and was unable to get the car packed into a carton for my courier to pickup. Now calls / sms's go unanswered. his son was the last to message me about 2 months ago.. I'm getting desperate now... as its been long enough! Quote
chris240 Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 Sounds like you need the medium size stick... Quote
Moderators Zedman240® Posted August 12, 2014 Moderators Posted August 12, 2014 My next message will just say " Some guys are coming....." Its not a nice thing to do to anyone but here we are! Quote
