I wonder if it is? Looks good either way.

A real 432-R? Yes, it is. Very much so!

It's Mr Akira Takeuchi's car, filmed at the Mt. Asama hillclimb fun day up in Nagano prefecture. Takeuchi san's car has a long history of magazine, book and film coverage in Japan. It was even on the cover of the latest issue of Nostalgic Hero magazine (issue no.182). The urethane 'Euro' spoiler on the front is his own addition.

Would be nice to have one of these. Don't think there are many around. The video answers a few questions. The section with the rocker cover off is very interesting.

Check out the channel! Some interesting items.

Yeah I would love to have an LY engine set up, these rb30 heads are about as close as I reckon I'll get.

Wonder what the costs are?

I'm guessing the cost would be lots plus a bit.

It would be great to have one but unfortunately very unlikely. I'm not sure how many they made but would suspect anyone making a reproduction would have a popular item.

Hopefully with 3D printing and scanning it will become easier over time. Tricky part is you need an original to copy from first.

Cool but they make reassembly look easy, no measurement of clearances, piston ring gaps etc.. still looks like fun. :D

A better history than the History Channel version. :D

Still blinkered USA-centric garbage though.

Yes well all his 2 minute sound byte videos are, but the Facebook kids love it.

@ 1:38 I've never seen S30Z wipers move that fast..... Maybe they worked ok when new? :D

Actually, Works rally 240Zs had different wiper motors than stock ;)

Any idea if those motors were ever used in other models? I've been thinking of doing the Honda upgrade but wondering if there is other options?
