Administrators gav240z Posted July 15, 2017 Administrators Posted July 15, 2017 Nice steering wheel ? Quote
Riceburner Posted July 16, 2017 Posted July 16, 2017 Seems a little small on the spokes and the cut outs. Might be a momo wheel with the mach horn assembly? Looks and sounds like a sweet ride though! gav240z 1 Quote

HS30-H Posted August 10, 2017 Posted August 10, 2017 I wonder if it is? Looks good either way. A real 432-R? Yes, it is. Very much so! It's Mr Akira Takeuchi's car, filmed at the Mt. Asama hillclimb fun day up in Nagano prefecture. Takeuchi san's car has a long history of magazine, book and film coverage in Japan. It was even on the cover of the latest issue of Nostalgic Hero magazine (issue no.182). The urethane 'Euro' spoiler on the front is his own addition. CBR Jeff 1 Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 10, 2017 Administrators Posted August 10, 2017 Yes it's a lovely looking car. http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/12039-pzr-432-r-ps30-sb-thread-discussion-and-reference-photos/ Quote

260DET Posted August 13, 2017 Posted August 13, 2017 That gearbox and the Chrono tach! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhCbvtsicIYhttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NhCbvtsicIY Interesting noting the sequential shift, when shifting down from a high speed to a low speed he spends/wastes a lot of time shifting. With good race brakes used to the max you would not have time to do that. Quote
CBR Jeff Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Would be nice to have one of these. Don't think there are many around. The video answers a few questions. The section with the rocker cover off is very interesting. Check out the channel! Some interesting items. Jeff Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 19, 2017 Administrators Posted August 19, 2017 Yeah I would love to have an LY engine set up, these rb30 heads are about as close as I reckon I'll get. Wonder what the costs are? Quote
CBR Jeff Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 Yeah I would love to have an LY engine set up, these rb30 heads are about as close as I reckon I'll get. Wonder what the costs are? I'm guessing the cost would be lots plus a bit. It would be great to have one but unfortunately very unlikely. I'm not sure how many they made but would suspect anyone making a reproduction would have a popular item. Jeff Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted August 19, 2017 Administrators Posted August 19, 2017 Hopefully with 3D printing and scanning it will become easier over time. Tricky part is you need an original to copy from first. Quote
Riceburner Posted August 19, 2017 Posted August 19, 2017 I thought Ledge got one of these from this guy for his Hako? Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted August 20, 2017 Administrators Posted August 20, 2017 Cool but they make reassembly look easy, no measurement of clearances, piston ring gaps etc.. still looks like fun. Quote

Administrators gav240z Posted September 16, 2017 Administrators Posted September 16, 2017 Actually, Works rally 240Zs had different wiper motors than stock Any idea if those motors were ever used in other models? I've been thinking of doing the Honda upgrade but wondering if there is other options? Quote
