Rb tend to run funny when cold. Best to let it warm up before driving.

Expecialy if it boosted slightly.

Problem is within idle control thingy and lack of air box for air flow meter. High winds or very cold patches will cause surging with poded air flows.

Also is the blow off valve plumb back?

I remembered mine doing similar things when cold. There is a sweet spot when temp

Hits everything readjust and runs perfect.

Similar even on neo rb25det when I had r34. Was working perfect till i put a pod filter and raised the boost. Didnt like driving while cold once warmed no issues.

I fitted up the Topstage rear wing yesterday. Looks good and has knocked out most of the cabin fumes.

I am going to fit a rear bar to Finnish the rear end off. I thought I could get away with a 2+2

Rear bar as in the pic below but it is around 2 inches to wide  if I can't find a 2 seater bar soon I may cut and shut the 2+2 bar to make it fit.

Hey zzed

I have a pod filter on my RB25DET, along with a Z32 AFM and Apexi ProFC fuel controller. Idles perfectly when stone cold and doesn't miss a beat driving it cold either. So from my experience, there is no reason design-wise why RB's don't run well cold with non-standard air filters.

I am trying to add some agression for the track. What do you think of these light covers and maybe a black bonnet with a bumperless grin.
