Moderators PB260Z Posted July 8, 2018 Moderators Posted July 8, 2018 Awesome looking car, just proves that good cars are out there. A long road trip is a great way to get to know to the quirks of a car. Cheers Quote
dat240z Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 I was so tempted to get that car - looks great. Quote
Administrators gav240z Posted July 10, 2018 Administrators Posted July 10, 2018 I'm surprised you actually managed to buy this car, those Nigerian Prince's can be tough to deal with! Quote

This is #365. It was quite rough not that long ago! https://photos.app.goo.gl/ggkulbss0hBfyqcA3 Think it was originally Safari Gold 920 too! Quote
luvemfast Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 Ohhhhh..... Bloody nice car! Someones gotten some deep pockets over the years Shows how waiting and spending more can get better results! gav240z 1 Quote
RAP260 Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) Ok, looking at the rebuild photos, that has to be the car rebuilt in Toowoomba?. Maybe I'm wrong. Spitting image otherwise. I bought some spare parts of a young fella who was rebuilding one. And that yard looks awfully familiar. He was 90% done when I saw it. Maybe around 3 - 4 years ago. A nice young fella, panel beater by trade. I saw it get listed on gumtree for sale not long after, but it disappeared and I never saw it again. Can anyone confirm? Cheers, Rob Edit - Just confirmed it is. You've got a beautiful car there @DreamZproject. The attention to detail was impressive. Complete ground up rebuild, no bolt untouched. DreamZproject Posted July 10, 2018 Author Posted July 10, 2018 There are a few little sections that haven't been 100% immaculately done, but they all look manageable. The bits that have been done properly are bloody fantastic (like the engine bay!) I'll get some more pics up soon! gav240z and RAP260 2 Quote
RAP260 Posted July 10, 2018 Posted July 10, 2018 (edited) Yea, please do. I recall the gumtree pictures looking immaculate. Selective photography maybe, lol. I'd like your feedback on the bodywork. The shop that did the work is one of only a handful of options here. Cheers, Rob Edited July 10, 2018 by RAP260 Quote
