What's so bad about v8 zeds and would there be much work to convert to an L28 if that was a much better option? I know a v8 zed will never be worth as much as an original zed. Quote

Would probably need a new gearbox cross member a tail shaft and engine mounts for the l28. Possibly a new cross member if it has been butchered to fir the motor. Quote

I'd say the problem with this V8 is it's weight. An alloy V8 like the LS(X) types would be much better for handling. Having said that I have no idea what this motor weighs and what power it outputs. Could be lots of fun. I think 12k for a rust free shell is a good price myself. You can always sell the V8 to recoup costs. Quote
