Because im probably going to buy the US NOS 280z console for my early 260z Im wondering what radio would fit the console holes......anyone know if the 280zs used the same radio available in the aus 260z? the face plates all look a little different....some front covers seem to taper to the bottom, some to the top Quote

Not always, I was just watching that radio. I thought it might sell for $250 USD and I was going to bid. I also asked seller for a buy it now but they wanted to let the auction run. However I got distracted with other things on the weekend and missed the auction end time. I was curious what it sold for and was a bit surprised when I saw that final sale price. I sometimes watch things just to see what value they obtain so that next time a similar auction appears on market I know what to sort of expect in terms of it's bidding etc.. I have a whole spreadsheet with auction results to keep track of prices and before anyone asks.. The answer is no, I'm keeping that info to myself . Quote

The 260Z and 280Z had the radio in the top of the console and therefore had face plates which are wider at the top. Quote
