Administrators gav240z Posted April 11, 2020 Author Administrators Posted April 11, 2020 It's an excellent price for an early-ish S30z tail lamp car. At those prices it's worth restoring these cars properly. And it is a lot of work, so it's not like easy money. Quote

I don't want to be too harsh here, but what exactly are people swooning at here? It's a nice car but it is nothing, nothing like a Works rally car, let alone the '71 East African Safari Rally winning car. It's not really much more than a paint and stickers job with a few fabricated add-ons. Do people understand just how special the Works cars were? I don't think they do. DattoZ and gav240z 2 Quote

Nah not harsh at all, I just love seeing the old rally builds of these cars. It's interesting to see owners build "Tribute" cars. Quote
gilltech Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 Well I for one would be proud to own it. Someone has gone to a great deal of trouble with all the decals & graphics. Quote Do people understand just how special the Works cars were? I don't think they do. How could we, unless we saw them being built. But we can still appreciate their history and tribute cars keep that history alive and not confined to museums. DattoZ 1 Quote

specialp3 Posted September 12, 2020 Posted September 12, 2020 (edited) I have to say this is one of the best looking zeds I have ever seen. The stance of this car is perfect and the photography is very nice. Talking about photography, is there anyone in Sydney that can take photos like shown in the BAT auction.
