It's nice to see how the experts do things but obviously they have an income or expertise to protect. I imagine cause there's less cars around too, there is as a result less of them working on Datsuns. I'm a plumber by trade so my expertise is very lacking in this field. As far as content goes, personally I find build threads the biggest and best source of info. Typically they show a little of everything from body work to mechanical and discussion is generated from there. As far as my contribution goes there's not very much. I lack any genuine skills, I try to get detailed info on the technical build stuff by asking questions as I figure I can then try it myself. I do try to post up any upgrades I carry out but most of my stuff is monkey see, monkey do. Hehe. Quote

Bit like people who only go to the gym when summer is a month away. I think you're under selling your skills mate, you put those motorcycle carbs on your engine didn't you? That is something many people (me) would be interested in learning more about the process and how you did it. Surely... Quote

Surely... +1, i would be interested in the motorcycle carb setups you have ran, manifold, linkage and all the tricks involved. You could make some valuable content. Also a thread with video tours of peoples s30z's that are running could be some more cool content and generate some good conversation. Just an idea but it would no doubt have its difficulties as people would have to get you tube channels Quote

Hehe. even if you put up something that didnt work out its still valuable info for everyone, including yourself when others offer their ideas/opinions on it and turn it into a discussion. I havent done much at all on my car because my wife is working less now = less spare cash and i have been inundated with work, so my free time at home tends to be relaxing in front of the tv, or working on my mancave (as funds allow) (Side note, this gives me an idea for a new thread?) I have a couple of big plans i'll document, but i have to get all the parts in line before i can start... Quote

I'm working all this weekend and then have to go back to NZ next week for round 2 of North Island endurance series at Hampton Downs, if any NZedders are going to be there. I was wondering if people were still interested since that thread died, but if you are still keen Gav i'll try and pull finger and do something. I've just paid my entry on the 24hrs of LeMons too so i have a race car to build for that too. Anyone got any spare time they want to sell me? Quote
