I saw this car in person in August. Nice older gentlemen, easy to deal with. He has been working on it over a long period, but says it is beyond him, and his wife wants him to get rid of it. At the time it needed floors to be put in and obviously a whole lot of other work. There is also a whole heap of spare parts to go with the car, i believe he stripped a second car of all its good parts for this resto too.

Hey Ben, NDSOC is definitely part of the Club Permit Scheme. NDSOC expects a certain amount of involvement from it's members as it does hold, run & participates in a lot of events. Which is great if that is what you are after. But Retro Z said, they are quite a few clubs who do not require that level of participation, you just have to google & contact them. The good: 9 months rego All new polyurethane bushes all around Watanabe style Rotas with near new Pirellis Momo wood steering wheel 240z roundtop carbs (so I'm told) The bad: Body has rust in right rear dogleg Rear right wheel bearing needs replacing Needs a tune Unsure of full history of vehicle, previously registered under Victorian special interest scheme All in all this car is a good basis for a full restoration or enjoy until it needs a refresh. I would keep without hesitation if I could afford it, but keeping it just isn't feasible at this time as I'm at uni. Haha, yeah, it's pretty funny! I agree, plus if you have spent the money on a motor that needs 50mm triple carbs, it makes sense you spend the money on the carbs!

So....who sold all of their internal organs (or external...) and bought these 50mm Mikunis for AUD $12K!?
