  1. Welcome to the forum, it’s full of great guys with plenty of information. Enjoy.
  2. I’d take the cylinder head if you happen to wreck it.
  3. I have no idea but it’s a nice looking 2+2. There are quite a few zeds here in Tassie
  4. How hard is it to find L14 Rods?
  5. How much difference is 2.8mm going to make if you use the L24 rods though?
  6. Hi Jeff, Good to see you here and once again looks like a lovely car. Justin
  7. Hi Guys, Just saw these on gumtree if anyone is looking for a set. From the look of them they are the early type with three progression holes though don’t quote me lol. Obviously choke size would need to be reduced but thought I’d share. Cheers, Justin http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/farmborough-heights/engine-engine-parts-transmission/triple-dellortos-suit-hemi-6/1170561447?utm_campaign=socialbuttons&utm_content=app_ios&utm_medium=social&utm_source=ios_social
  8. Happy new year to all and hope 2018 is a great year for all. Cheers, Justin
  9. I’ll check out the ferry prices, I might be keen too.
  10. Thanks HKSZ, can I ask why only halfway through and didn’t finish the conversion? Justin
  11. They certainly look good Jeff and yes cheap HP. Be interesting to see or know what difference there would be in hp between different ones.
  12. How much just for the rods and do you have a picture of them?
  13. Hi Jeff, how much are they from SW? If you can remember
  14. Yes the XF ones I’m looking at are ventilated 24mm thick 287mm diameter so combined with the commodore front it should be a pretty good setup I’d think.
  15. I’m after a decent setup for my wife’s 2+2 as the slivermine stage 4 kit I have for it won’t fit under the Simmons. I’m looking at the Commodore conversion for the front of it as I’m thinking they will clear.
  16. From what I have seen unless there are a couple of different types there similar to the R31 etc with the park brake setup in the calipers as well
  17. Hi Guys, Just wondering if anyone has fitted falcon xf rear discs on a zed? I see skipets here and there about them being fitted to them but I can’t find any details. Cheers, Justin
  18. I’m sure there not SW extractors but I don’t mind the look of them for the price.
  19. Do you have two 4.11 with housings?
  20. Would you be better of putting a 260Z pedal box and column in if they fit? To my way of thinking the 260Z column is certainly stronger, just a thought. Justin
  21. Hi Guys, Just thought I would share a video that gives a bit of an indication of what the zeds are like to drive with electric power assist steering fitted. The last one I made was for Paul Henshaws Time Attack 240Z a few months ago and due to quiet a few upgrades to his car it was awhile before he had a chance to try it out but after completing the last couple of races he too is pretty happy with it. For the guys who have something like I do or hydraulic setups they know just how much better these cars are to drive and to be honest isn’t that what we have them for to drive and enjoy after all but whatever system you have or thinking of going for make sure you get it approved for insurance purposes as some you can’t. Cheers, Justin
  22. Hi Peter, Sounds good and it should be lovely weather that time of the year as well. I’m glad you liked the videos posted though never looks as good when in video. I took quite a few that day and did about a five hour drive today and took more videos but I wasn’t using the A/C and had the drivers window down, not the best idea as there is a fair bit of wind noise especially on a couple of the straights when I gave it a quick stab to just over 200km/hr lol, so from now on windows up when video is going. Will see you in March. Justin
  23. Thanks guys, I can get one but I’d have to remove it from the car but for the little I’d make it’s not really worth it lol. Wish it was a R200 then it would be
  24. Hi Guys, This video is just a short reminder that Tassie roads can be and are a lot of fun, there are corners after corner winding up and down some beautiful country but please take it easy if you cherish your cars and possibly your life. This video is a section taken out of one of the videos I took the other day while going on during the same day of the two other videos posted. This is the reason why I was being cautious the other day as it only takes one stuff up Cheers, Justin
  25. Hi Jeff, Yes we do though most of them could be smoother if you have hard suspension but they are still fun.
