Benny thanks for the video. also this one from rocky auto is nice. wouldn't do the NA Rb30/26 if going RB route just install the whole thing. but as article said he was making a balanced car. Though some things i wasn't planing to do on mine but after this article kinda have changed my mind. http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/02/modern-heart-rokcy-auto-rb30-z/ Alex the kit I saw was second hand but apparently seller said genuine 5 pce kit with metal brake ducts diverters, brackets etc.. it was approx $750 Plus handling fees and 2x postage using Jesse. it would have cost probably landed around 1-1.2K or so pending exchange rates and 6-9 week wait for shipping via sea. otherwise air mail is too exy. Edit cannot be posted via EMS only container and long long delivery times. Otomoto appears to have good ones made in japan at $1150+ph with all the brackets.so be looking at that one.

Hahaha that is very cool. Love it. Heart breaker is the name of my speed boat so bit biased on the title

Thanks Retro, not using stock half shafts dont think they last with my choice of engine. got some CV's from a R31 turbo jdm model. though in search for the r200 mustachy and those other bits. i had 2 sets lying around and threw them out so freaking pissed. NOTE: never listen to your mother/wife/anyone who tell you that you don't need that part. As soon as you listen few weeks after it be "FOR #@&* sake !*(*@#@ I had it" why did i listen. ok shoping from japan has ended. items are on their way. Still no progress as of now. still sorting out my workshop and preparing the other z for pick up. soon next weekend should be some progress.

Sourcing new genuine Nissan part in Oz?
Fairlady Z replied to Riceburner's topic in General Maintenance
Move to Adelaide and go to Unley Nissan and ask for jim or mark. Guys are brilliant. Never to hardfor them to look up or chase the part. Also all their microfische for old cars have been digitised. Not only old cars but they hunt down rare japanese model only parts. Not once did they come back saying its too old or not Australian market. Only disapoitment i do get if the parts is NLA. Thats after they contact Japan. The other day i rang and gave a list for l28et rebuild parts. 3hrs later prices, lead time and whats available in Aus. Rest was 1week wait ex japan. Also s15 style A parts a special autech edition silvia. And the guys hunt it all down. Though was damn exy. I find it disapointing when i hear other nissan are hopeless. I will try get a copy of the parts catalogue for s30 and s130. That way we can find our own parts and give the retarded nissan dealership the numbers. -
That sounds very nice. Also looks good too.

This one be more of a cruiser. Since its lhd laws here are stupendus. So any mods have to be hidden or not extreme. But those wheel arches just scream fat wheels and 300+ wide tires. Still as z28 had 350hp engine as option i can mod it to that level plus 20%. So wont be a sloutch. So better cam, bit of head work and extractors, rola rokers should be easy. Also onthe list is lsd diff and quickshift kit for the auto. Mustang will be my monster car as its rhd and mods are virtualy unlimited. 351w ford racing 4bolt dart block with low comp setup and strong internals, custom efi system and two haidriers. 9" lsd at the back and 6spd from fg. Aiming at 750+kw at the rears. Car weight around 1300kg should be fun. Best of all worlds in one: tough muscle car looks with v8 growl and hi tech add ons to make sure turbo 4cyl rockets dont stand a chance. Ahh car obsession its so awesome. Best addiction ever.

Thanks guys. Z28 bumperetes we see. Not a big fan of them atm. This is rs well actualy LT which replaced RS in 73. LT were only model that could have had all the z28 options. LTz28 Z28 front lip and grill yep. It allready has z28 rear spoiler and wheels. Interior has seen better days. Its all there but door trims are gone dash is not cracked but warped. Everyrhing else is intact but just looks old and well used. Everything will be bought new so it will look like it came from showroom floor. After rego some nice fat 12" wheels at the back. These wheel archers are huge. It allready has 255 and they look too skinny. Can buy everything new at realy good price shouldnt be too exy to get it shmick.

Nah no kids. Not the human variety anyway but a 4 wheel one. First ever drive in a lhd car. Was bit wierd for a minute or two but after that was no different than rhd car. Brakes are bit spongy, accelerator sticky and power steering leaky, running a bit rich but was fun. Few laps in industrial area carpark before it went on a truck to its new home 5km away. Its a 1973 Camaro 350 auto. Engine starts first hit of a key. No long cranking. Has few goodies on engine but will be further improved once registered. First job after washing it was to remove those silly white sticker on the rear wing.

nah we don't know how hard it is. We all have rich parents that we milk money out whenever we please for our toys Peter. Mate we all work hard and most of us are not car builders. Some work on grass and tents. Also profanity just proves how childish you are. Grow up mate. Don't care if hes your mate or not but the car is ugly. Even if it was my late fathers car I tell him its ugly so get over it. Anyway this thread has gone pointless.Where how fast a car is negates the ugliness. cool. some of you guys need your eyes checked.
-
hahahahahaha tough words. Don't tempt the SA guys. We can build them to go fast and look damn good. So he can go do kamasutra on himself instead of F us all. Paul the offer for that AWD gear has just gone even better for you buddy.
-
Its not as as ugly as that drag car. That even doesnt look like a z. But a z crossed with an alien. Though this could be one of better ones as long as he does something about the VE grill And lights from the V8 supercar.Maybe Zg front extension with VE lower section and i recon u have one very fast and tough looking z. The rest of the kit is ok. Paul u know what u need to beat him awd traction. gtr gearbox and Rear cradle. I do u a complete kit cheap as a semi sponsor donation for the cause.3 sec is a fair bit of time. U need all the help u can get.

Fairlady Z replied to gav240z's topic in Cars For Sale
Looks like it sold. Silly me didnt screen capture the pics but it was realy nice clean car. Pitty about 4doors but even as 4door looked nice. Was 2000gt l20 single carb , interrior was very good floor was bit dirty but nothing good vacuum wouldnt fix. Outside paint looked very good. Manual looked like a recent rego as had new plates on it. Silver colour with original hubcaps but few other pics showed meshies and also kidney style which was included with car. -
Hi Ryan cheers for the offer. Most stuff is fairly small. Though biggest part is the rear hatch. So if you could fit that than be awesome if u could bring it down. Not sure been almost two weeks since i touched the car busy cleaning up workshop and making a shed to store some parts and tools. Though after this weekend it be 100% work on it. So i try my best but possibly end of april start of may im hoping.
