I went to Kirrawee Mufflers for a 2.5" stainless mandrel system from extractors to tail pipe with a single muffler in the back with a O2 sensor too. Wow, that looks fantastic. Definitely get storage sorted or it may end up looking like my shed. Any plans for Insulation and lining? My shed has brick walls and tin roof and gets very hot in summer. Insulation in the roof would make a massive difference. Looking forward to some updates or a cruise!!

I tried weighing some calipers on my 5kg kitchen scale. OEM 2 pots with no pads 4.15kg S12+8 vented 4 pots with 50% pads showed 5.2kg's before reading error. I'll try getting some bigger scales. Wish I had some mk63's to weigh.

The calipers seem quite reasonable but I reckon I'd go for the 505 / Saab rotor with a bit of machining.

If I didn't have a 1600 in the shed I would have sent it back. Only sti's had R180's all other Subis used R160. I'd ask the seller to measure the distance between the moustache bar top cover plate bolts to confirm what you're getting. Do you know if it's a Torsen or clutch pack type LSD. Sorry, cover plate bolts NOT moustache bar bolts. Serious case of hang over / man flu. Top cover plate bolt spacings R160 ~ 60mm R180 ~ 80mm R200 ~ 90mm See attachment

Hey Gav Yep as above, side axles and input flange is all that's required. I have read of instances where the more recently built side axles are snapping. I think these are the Wolf Creek items but not sure. You will sometimes find the Beta Motorsports axles come up for sale. To be honest, I'm not sure it is the cheapest option anymore as Subi diffs seem to be attracting higher prices these days.

I wouldn't have thought so but maybe it's worth adjusting them 1 full turn each and see if it makes the difference. Obviously your steering wheel would need recentering though. How wide are your tyres and what offset wheels do you run?
