  1. Just a heads up from J-Spec Imports as it would appear our good friend is trading again under yet another new name which is Sunrise Cars (http://www.sunrisecars.com.au).
  2. Gareth who are you sourcing the shocks through?

    Wtb Ld28 Crank

Contact Bardan at Importmonky as he is looking to sell off some stroker stuff including LD28 crank for the right price. Just let him know Adam sent you his way. http://www.importmonky.com
  4. Dattocam, Its hard to tell from that photo but I am thinking it would be the one they sell at Otomoto. http://www.otomoto.com.au/p/8486041/datsun-240z-front-spoiler-with-brake-ducts.html
  5. so tempting on all of this but can't justify it right now
  6. Hahaha. If I got another one for $200 I would start sourcing another L28. I only sold mine as I sold my spare L28 the week before.
  7. haha everybody is jumping ships on the LD crank sales now. I did have another guy in sydney interested if you would like to PM your details laytoa I can pass them on
  8. It's gumtree but P90 head for sale for a decent price. http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/1106518657
  9. Its ok the first lowball came around an hour after posting it on gumtree with a guy saying "I'll give you 200 cash" and all I could think of was I hope he meant 200 $10 notes. Not in a rush to get rid of it either, its just going towards my intake and work on the engine is still a fair few months away. Who knows I might end up buying another L28 in that time and then use this on it.
  10. Haha Matt, that just means I will charge you more for future parts ?
  11. Hahaha thanks buddy no wonder I could never find the other results with it still stuck to crank ?
  12. For those that missed out on Gav's crank I now have mine for sale as I have decided the turbo build will not be stroked and I just sold my spare L28 I was going to use for a NA build that I would have used this crank in. I haven't unwrapped this crank since I got it from Gareth so that's why the photo of the card is still attached to it with the crank wrapped up. The info Gareth provided when I purchased is: "All standard size mains and big ends etc. There is .004" bend in the crank". I have been informed the bend is easily repaired by a shop and would do it during assembly and balance. Will take $1500 for it posted unless you want to give me more money which I wouldn't say no to as it's helping fund the ITB setup ?
  13. Still can't believe you have this dave. God I want it so badly
  14. Hopefully that helps out with the +2 rear arch. Also Scoota informed the arches are the same between 2 seaters and +2s but the +2 has a more pronounced lip.
  15. That is cheap, will add myself to the list of people who want but doubt it will make it this far down.
  16. Will do buddy. I'm picking up another L28 at the end of the month (F54/N42 combo) that I was looking at rebuilding and selling but it has me thinking I might send it down with my other F54 block to get sonic tested and if one of them is good I may just end up building a stroker to sell. Depending how time and money goes first. Oh also you glued up that PVC tube well. I ended have to cut the top off
  17. I have a LD28 crank that I was looking at offloading next year sometime as I did the same as Gav and started buying parts for a stroker yet my plans have changed. Gav i paid around $100 in postage for mine I think just to help give you an idea. Was wrapped up really well and sealed in a PVC tube.
  18. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to everybody. Hopefully the new year will see some more Zeds make it back onto the road and I look forward to meeting more Zed enthusiasts as my journey continues building my car.
  19. Crap I forgot about this. Guy I work with sent me a photo of a few Zeds out the front of a place at Waterford about an hour ago (I pick him up for work so drive past the house everyday) asking I knew what was going on.
  20. Looking forward to meeting you and hopefully will have my car on the road in the near future.
  21. Being Edward Lees I think that photo should represent his mindset. I will honestly put him at 500k if it's an original.
  22. That would be Matts car. He has the forsale thread here: http://www.viczcar.com/forum/topic/14198-fs-74-260z-20-20000/
  23. Hmm i thought vented was more desirable as they are normally harder to find due to limited years they were released. I picked up my spare bonnet for free (non vented) and the spare vented bonnet I had I ended up selling for around $500 with non perfect vents and it needed work as well. Have the original vented bonnet with perfect vents sitting in the shed as it won't be used on this car build.
  24. My car had a small hit on the drivers side nose area so I had some patching to do but I haven't finished stripping the passengers side one down yet so hopefully it's not full of rust as it looks alright as it sits but so did most of the car. Most of the rust seems to be the dog legs and around the lower rear quarters that I have found so far. Marks helped me a lot with this build and not just with parts but with passing on knowledge when I have been stuck. I will search for your build thread when I get home from work to see how yours is coming along.
