Hi gav Yes it would be a bit dangerous to just port away but i have seen the port work from os engine man and have a few good port pics and im flying over to see more in a few weeks

Yes light rods help but 7000 rpm is about as far as safe for any time On cast piston full floating piston is a big help. Your not realy getting the benefits with your setup

Why run a stock style piston on a race rod your stock rod with bolts wiĺl live at the same rpm as the cast piston. And no mods to piston .

It all starts with a good block ..trying to find a block that will go 89 mm or bigger is not a cheep experience now ..i went through 5 this week. To get 1 that will be safe at 89mm perfect for my build as im using a billet 90mm stroke crank . My goal is to crack 400hp on a superflow engine dyno at 8000 rpm .stay tuned

A 350hp L stroka is so fast its hard to believe. I have driven every combo you have put up.. 3.3 and 3.4 are still my favorite

Think this might be the most expensive L built lol. The head is one of the last original heads os made .and its been sitting in a shed in Japan for over 25 years lost till last year .. so looking forward to bring it back from the dead

For so long i have been trying to get this job from japan. Finally its going to happen bits are turning up and parts ordered. Going to be a epic build going all out 90x90 bore stroke .full work over of the old head .stay tuned

Have made a few ,, its not as easy as some think ,,, there is many hours in it and you have to start from scratch ,, shaping the stock one is hard as the diff gets in the way , so you have to cut that out first ,then cut the down to the rails and start fab work ,,, and ,there hard to weld there mongrels for cracking and moving ...

Hi pauls mate its a custom sump time the 26 needs lots of oil , at full rpm they drain the sump so fast , a good sump has at least 7.5 L ,Also the picup in the pan is a tight fit with rear pan ,best mod is to fit external oil feed line from the oil pump to the bottom of the pan ,

just built a L 31 stroker with a 600hp turbo,, thing is mad running 25psi making well over 500hp engine ,, just studs and a sump... ,i have had it apart to check things , no sign of problems

The rb stroker setup is a hole lot lighter than a light 2.8 crank , as the pins are honda size , and the rods are light as well , lol and the piston because the pin hight is so high , and you get 250cc more than the best Ld crank kit , hole kit under 6000 , best hp around
