  5. Yes Gordo , start over happens all the time Owen hears your engine with the crank all fitted up , Pistons will be hear next week, and les is porting today , head should be ready next week
  6. The crank is a stock LD28 thing by the look off it , with this engine we will run 2 cams on the dyno and see what it likes , as it will spend all its time on the road ,
  7. The paint is cast gray its the les collins ,works colour, he puts it on all the best builds , its lighter than the blue it was , looks great with crome and red fittings

BEST we start over was all i could say , Owen had a friend build his stroker and had used all the cool parts ,but things did not go to plan , The new pistons were damaged because the block was not as clean as it should have been , so the bottom end needed to be rebuilt from scratch with new pistons and a re-bore specs , for the build pistons forged sps 90+mm crank 83mm stroke kemeri rods 138mm head to be built by Les and me , with 46mm inlets full race port and will be a P90 comp will be 10.5 induction is EFI hardwere itb exh will be SW race pipes and 3in magaflow this is the block as it is today pics to come as it get built and there will be a dyno vid as we tune the ECU
  9. Yes you should hamer the rail flat , put a dolly under the rail and tap flat

    well i dont know i have both in the shop and there in the same box, and the best hp engine we have built has a OER , there a good thing i would just go with them

    you find there the same thing in the 45 size , made in the same shop and come in the same box with difrent stickers
  17. sorry Gav , i any good tuner can read a dyno graph and say how it will drive , the dyno is a tool and if used right its the only way to go , on the engine dyno we can tell if it will drive nice just by the way pulls off the bottom and how it takes full throttle , ,

  19. good to hear , was the hole around 4 5 cylinder on the manifold side
  20. there is a L block that has a hole on the pasanger side that is difrent , some gaskets are crap and dont have that hole coverd , where is it leaking
  21. they never had them in turbo engines , ever , some one fitted that engine with a turbo, nissan only ran those rods in 2.4e engines

Yes it has been done , , but the rods you have from the 2.4e are to week , and will bend when you make some good hp , custom rods are needed , rebelo do this mod for there big strokers , the oil holes do get a bit messy but its not the end off the world , dont rpm them over 6500 for to long and it will be ok ,
