  2. we have them gordo give me a call i will sort it for you
  3. Not aloud to say , with the 3.6 , but 3.35 is over 360hp now
  4. Looks great mate .one cool ride
  5. you really don't want to remove the water from the head to cool the turbo , but if you have to remove it from the plug side as the water is cooler ,
  6. What i found was the stock water pump works, with the mods to the head , water did not go over 77deg today at the track temp was 30deg c and we ran the car with 12.1 comp and 30deg timing on 100 fuel , tune was even on all plugs could not be more happy with the head , , will be doing all heads this way from now on .
  7. dont take water from the head its already to hot lol take the water from to lower water outlet on the block then feed the hot water to the bottom of the thermostat
  8. WOW great time man very cool , do you think the grip is better on the new track
  9. drive it for a hour set the tappets change the oil and filter and your set, drive it normaly , dont let it idle for to long and set the idle fast for the first day or so , just to keep the oil up around the cam , run 20, w 50 non sin and dont rpm it to hard for the first hours if its a new cam
  10. tuned the car today , im ready be staying down there see you at the bbq
  11. jake i will be fitting them on my 3.4 TC as well for that reasoin, and i dont feel that i will be driving it around under 4000 rpm , much so the 50mm carbs will sute me just fine , but for the targa cars you need it to drive strong right off the bottom, and the 47s win that fight
  12. HI NZeder i have done the test on them all and know the 44s stop making power well before the 47 in the test day we did the 44 made 298 and the 47 made 349 same engine no other change the 50mm carbs made the same but did not pull off the bottom as well , best over all torque was from the 47mm carbs with 42 mm chokes best power was with 46 chokes . this test was with a 89 88.5 motor
  13. looking forwad to the build pics mate , got a soft spot for them
  14. HAHAH get it finished its been in the engine bay for month's yes its got new OER 47mm carbs , i really want it to pull from idle

    My tc L 3.4

because its not possible with the head , cc =63 so the piston needs a 20cc bump to get 12.1 comp
  16. first ever lap at PI warm up lap 158 , second lap 1.54 3rd lap 1.53 in a zed , you feel safe because there is good run off , its a great track , Kev did his 139 on his 2ND lap there first lap was 143 , cold day , if your car is safe and well setup you will have a great time , if you want to see how its done watch gordo on his youtube vid he is a smoth driver
  17. Sorry mate , i thought it was a real race car now , did not think you still drove it around , , yes 1.46 is dam fast , and makes its the 2nd fastest zed at PI in the last 5 years , but id like to see who has the best time with a road car zed that has a L motor , bring on the nats
  18. just for you all fast boys out there Kev's best time at PI was 1.39 , and at winton 1.25 long track he is the fastest zed , but the real question is who has the fastest zed that can drive to the track and drive home on r spec wheels , at the moment i think Gordo is at 1.51 at PI
  19. Gareth it has a p90 with all the gear and latest water mods and port work and has the big port manifold from japan and new big OER carbs , has SW race pipes with our mods to the sec pipes 3 in exh ,,, whats it all for , to be dam fast at targa
  20. pics will be a cracker
  21. kevs car is the fastest zed in aus by far , then theres the rbs that have 350+ kw , but cars like Gordos and peter hall and others like noels car , that are all well over 300hp are dam fast , any one that cracks 1.50 at the nats has a cracker of a car i will be driving noels car for the nats and its dam fast now hope to do a fast time

    L26 Block

you can fit any head on a f54 block , all fit not all make power lol btw there are many E88 heads i have 3 that are all different and the early ones don't work as well as the late the best E88 are from the injected 2.4 engines , there chamber is a good design all they need is some big valves and a port job and there a killa head , just remember what ever head you want to use you must know the cc of the chamber , so you can work out the comp ratio and build a piston from that , and also you can then work out piston to valve clearance some cams will need the piston to have valve pockets in them , get a pro to help with this part or it will be nasty lol

    L26 Block

The 26 crank is the same crank as the 28 same stroke , can it be bored as far no its the same bore as the 24 , some times you can get a block out to 86 mm but not very often 85 mm is as far as most go . most 28 blocks will go to 88mm some go to 89mm , so if you want a 2.9 go a 28 block and take it to 89 mm you may need to sonic test 5 blocks to find one that will go to 89
  24. well done Gareth looks great

    My tc L 3.4

Just like your head Ledge , there is 2 plugs in the head that are removed and i have fitted 2 -3 fittings to feed the oil in and i will suck the oil out with the drysump pump with a fitting in the back of the head , it will not have any breathers in the covers ,
