Awesome work Peter. This will be a beast.
  8. Saw lurch at PI on some sort of old car drive day. Lunch time?
  9. When the Historic race meetings are on at PI you can here the cars if the wind is a southerly from Cowes. Not to mention the V8s and motor bikes.. Air boxes are a good idea for induction noise.
  10. +1 on the radiator, you might need a bit of room to swing the motor around. Looking good though. nothing like spending the Christmas holidays in the shed. lol.
  11. 9.3KW is that at the rear wheels, you got ripped off big time. lol.
  12. Good to see its the same old boys and girls getting some use out of there Zeds . There is a lot of talk on this forum but sadly not much action. I say this because it disappoints me. We have so much fun on trips like This and Tassie and most of you will never no what you are missing out on. Having said that, our cars are 40 years old and only 90% of them are drivable . That just about sums it up really . Back to the sheds boys we want to see them at Easter. Merry Christmas.
  13. Holy shiver,i would be checking this out carefully ,wouldn't want to brake something , normally they just tap in. Check your left to right.
  14. Yes a Merry Christmas to all. You have all kept me entertained with reading material , and funny ha hars, drive safely and don't Hoon you Hoons. A toast the the Aus zeders for another great year. cheers.
  15. Yes ,you have to call him first. He must get a lot of junk email.
  16. Simon, are you still trying to get your Dads wheels to fit with out the spacers? And did I read correctly you are going to get some massive wheels for next years sprints?
  17. Jason, will you be running your car there?
  18. Yer Gav,this guy has a real story to tell about his cars, they are his life. I'm sure there will be a few guys on hear with similar story's . Almost a small documentary . Cheers.

  22. Hi Gareth. After 24 pages, nearly 30000 hits and two and a half years is the riceburner going to hit the track next year?
  23. Good work Simon , I will be happy to be a paid up member.
  24. So Gareth, Noel is making a speedy recovery and we all wish him well for a full recovery. Out of the goodness of his heart he will double enter the zed at the Nationals with Peter. So Peter will be putting in all sorts of secret goodies, you no the go fast bits. Could even be a 3.6 stroker, we will never no, but the 1.45 s at PI will give it away. So good luck with the new engine Peter, I would love to see Noel do his fastest lap ever before he sales the car. Cheers Gordon.
  25. So that's how they do it. Was an awesome build, I wonder what power he had out of the 350z motor, and weight. Heaps of custom work. Reminds me a little of Peter Mac white zed.
