  1. Sounds like something that happened to me. My brake and stop lights didn't turn off and pushing the brake pedal in didn't increase the intensity of the lights. Check that there is a rubber plug/grommet attached onto the upper end of the brake pedal. This rubber part sits against a stop brake sensor turning off the lights when the pedal is not in use. Mine crumbled apart but can be easily replaced with a nut and bolt that fits onto the mounting hole on the pedal. I believe its near the clevis pin, that little box that is protruding from the pedal itself like in the diagram link below http://www.middletennesseezclub.com/files/brakepedal.JPG

I too would like to know some experiences. I would be all keen to actually try this but only when I have a fresh new engine and heater parts as they need to be replaced anyway. Australian Evans stockists http://www.evanscoolants.com.au/stockists

  11. Gumption is available at Bunnings/Coles in the bathroom and kitchen cleaning isle hehe. A method I have used is to wet sand with various grit paper (I like to use 320, 800, 1000, 1500 and 2000 grits) the plastic, in my case a headlight, then move onto a liquid cutting compound or plastic scratch remover. Then wax it to seal it from the sun. Headlights look brand new!
  12. You will need to take the car over the pits as its an unregistered vehicle. If it had been registered for more than a year in NSW then all you would have needed is to transfer it into the WA licencing sysytem without going through the trouble. The simple answer is: Bring car over > Buy a temporary movement permit at the same time buy ticket for pit inspection and book a time > take to pits > all ok get rego. The decider is if the inspector deems the car roadworthy, if it isnt then you have to fix the items listed otherwise its smooth sailing. There is no yearly inspection. http://www.transport.wa.gov.au/licensing/21100.asp How roadworthy? Tidy the car up so it looks presentable, No cracks in brake hoses (although the second time round the inspector let me pass if i swear to change them immediately I think with emissions, well depends on the model year and how strict and knowledgeable the inspector is Hope that helps abit. Go in with a positive attitude and talk with the inspector. Even if he picks up a fault with something just ask him about it. You never know he might just let it slip. Cheers Ray.
  13. Hey Bounce, Not many 240/260's in WA, Had to get mine from VIC. Join the http://wazregister.com/ if you haven't already, they sometimes have cars for sale and local too. You might also want to checkout some Insurance companies as I know with Shannon's they don't accept open carports. Will this be a Daily for you? All the best in your hunt for a Z. Ray.
  14. Hey Billy, Good thing your in WA because I've got them on my Z if you want to take a closer look at them. I may also be willing to part with them. Anywho let me know. Ray.
  15. Hi James, I have the AZC 6pots, 12.2" rotors up front with 15x7 +/-15 offset Koing Rewinds and they just barely fit. Had to move the wheel weights across the width of the rim but it leaves a few mm gap. I believe BenZed said that Watanabe R-Type's (Unsure of the specifications) Do not fit unless a wheel spacer is attached.
