    260z Hubs

Simon, this may be true, but like me and the other guys its nice to keep an assortment of spares in the shed. You never know when you might need them. So some advice, if you have room try and buy a cheep 2+2 and keep,it for spares.
  3. Hey Pete, would my old headers work on the bigger motors?

  5. This is looking great. Love the hole setup. Can't wait to see the Dyno results. And Peter did less make those headers or are they SWM headers.
  6. Hi Jason, and welcome . So this is the beginning of your journey into zed land, there is much to learn about the mighty Zed. And the good thing about it is that its all here on this sight. Always someone to help. Enjoy.

    260z Hubs

Yes the 240z and 260z hubs are a different off set. The wheel offset is the same but the disc offset is 10mm bigger on the 260 hub. So the the 240 hub is 15mm thick from the disc to wheel bolt surfaces, and the 260z hub is 25mm thick, there for making the 260z disc sit 10mm closer to the strut. The hubs that Simon had where 22.5mm but the inner and outer bearings were 20mm closer together . Maybe off a smaller datto, like 120y or similar .

    PM sent.
  11. Owen, saw your engine yesterday , Peter tells me your block has a special quality for a big bore. Well done with that one. Also saw the 3.5lt block and crank. The work that these guys do is amazing. To get that crank to fit inside with the clearances . They have to grind out the oil line in the block and rebore another one! Cutting edge stuff. Way ahead of other engine builders, they wouldn't touch that stuff. If you want the Best Engine. Take it to Peter and Les. They relly know the craft. I just want one.( but you already have one) yer another one! Bigger and better. Cheers guys ,great work.
  12. Best we start over, yer I heard that one before Pete. Owen you know it's gonna be a ball tairrer. In all the time I've had my PMC haven't had one oil or gasket leak and its sounding sweeter and sweeter.
  13. Garith, sounds like you have already done the coroners report on this one, good observations. It would make a good parts car.
