    All's well, just pulled the carbs to pieces gave them a good clean up. Put them back together & re set the mixture on the jets. Seems pretty good now but he's in need of a 280 elctrnc dizzy. Points unit is struggling with burning all the juice. Regards: Alan.

    Removed the extrctrs of my Z today to find where the Bloody "Tick " noise was coming from , suspicions were founded when the tell tale mark was evident. Where the mnfld bolts up to the head there is not a great deal of metal area where it's leaking. Thinking about welding adtnl area & filing back. Any suggestions about using some adtnl method to ensure that I don't encounter this problem again. Like gasket goo, aeroplane glue or some other ingredient that will assist. Regards. Alan

    G'day Tai, isn't the non EGR mnfld from a 240Z.Pretty sure the unit i'm using on my N42 is. Might also point out that all you need is the balance plenum that fits across the two mnflds & at the moment there is one on Ebay . Regards: Alan .

    G'day Aimbot, if you have the lock unit out take it to a good locksmith, he'll cut keys on a computerised set up providing the number is on the lock unit. Costs bout 40 bucks with two keys. Did this with mine works purfect , also petrol lock unit. Regards: Alan.
