They are Pioneer TS-A1670S units, 3way 18cm , 180W max /35W nom ,4 Ohm impdnce . Stivva gave them to me. He mentioned something about putting foam at the back of them once they were installed. Might have a chat with him for more info now that I think of it. Regards: Alan.

What Ive done Scoot is cut into the two side panels that fit either side in the rear of the car. Actually cut out the sections where the speakers are normally fitted behind the panels. Regards: Alan.

Thanks for the quick heads up mate. Will try what you suggest. Wiper motor was rewired & is supposed to be bullett proof ,280 bucks worth. So hope your idea works. Just as a matter of interest tho to your knowledge there is no intermediate unit between the operational switch & the wiper motor itself. Regards: Alan.

In the process of fitting rear panels containing speakers into boot section. Is there a need for me to fit some form of material at the back of the speakers where they protrude from the rear of the panels to add to their perfomance or protect them in some way. Regards: Alan.

Had a problem with a piece of perspex on one of my instrument panels that was fairly severely scratched. I tried several recommended ways, but found the best & easiest solution was to use a product called "Gumption". I applied this liberally to the affected part & then polished it into the area in a circular motion with a damp soft cloth I then wiped this clean & repeated this operation a few times until the offending mark was removed. Hi Fella's , been away for a while . Just got around to fitting my new you beut wiper motor that I had re -wired to alleviate problems of wipers not being fast enough in very heavy rain. Upon initiating wipers found that they worked no where near their true potential. Is there a unit that actuates the motor somewhere in between the operating switch & the actual drive motor that might be causing the problem. Regards: Alan.

Wouldn't get them done in Sydney if I were you. They are not allowed to use certain chemicals by law & as a result of this the plating eventualy lifts. Try woollongong or newcastle area's as they don't come under this regulation. Or even try ACT. Warren at All Z has a guy in NZ I blve who doe's a good job. But try him last as a bit xpnsve. Gave up trying to get the damn Honda to centralise at finish. Found out about a Autolcrcn who rewinds original 260 to 80 Amps which is a hell of a lot more powerful than the older set up. A bit pricey at $200 but I now have a re-wired motor that will work fine. Just waiting to get it back home. I 'm inclined to agree that the honda will work at a quicker rate because the rotating arm on motor is lesser than zeds & therefore it must spin faster. Regards: Alan.

They're on Ebay, (rear) only problem is one is 30mm drop whilst other unit is stndrd . Front ones are 30mm drop but 240Z units. Wont suit 260Z Ive been informed. Some suspension places can reset your existing units for abt 50 bucks ea. Regards: Alan.
