I have acquired three wiring looms that are supposed to suit a 280ZX fuel injection set up however there is no provision for "Drop down" resistors for the fuel injectors with any of them . In the manuals I have all the imported cars are fitted with these resistors & also state that they are used to reduce the voltage so that the injectors wont burn out. I am unable to obtain information with regard to the Australian models so I don't know about their set up with regard to this matter. Regards: Alan.

G'day Paul, everything's fine thanks mate.But we had a few anxious moments when the fire were being belted along by 100 plus klmtr winds. The choppers did a fantastic job containing them when they got into it. Missus was panicking something fierce about the house as was I about my beloved Zed. From info recvd thus far I am going to use xf Falcon thtle body with VL n/a fuel injctrs, have aqrd a VL fuel air box. Will be chasing a Malpasi fuel rgltr in adtn to go with set up. Many thanks for all your input & help Fella's. Final qstn is what spark plugs to use with this set up, & should I advance the elctrnc dissy further. Regards: Alan

G'day Pauly, thanks for your reply mate. Only Mods to motor is bored to 60Thou o/sze, mild cam ,extrctrs, 2 1/4 exhst, genie mflr. If this is not ok, is there another set of f/injctrs like Skyline etc that existing ECU would cope with & give a bit better prfrmnce thru the ranges. Regards: Alan.

If VL Turbo fuel injctrs are fitted in place of stndrd injctrs on a 280Z injctn set up, will the ECU have to be changed to VL specs to run Turbo injctrs. Will be using a XF Falcon Throttle body set up in conjunction. Regards: Alan.
