  2. ???Hate to suggest it but the elctrcl unit of your wipers was probably ok. All you would of have to do to fix them was remove wiper blades & cowling undo a cple of bolts extricate/remove wiper unit & pivot arms. Dismantle the pivoting arm itself use waterproof grease & reassemble the unit. Did this to mine it worked like a charm. I'm still going to fit Honda unit tho. An alternative to this is spray unit with WD40, work unit manually to free it up as much as possible let it dry out them a good going over with Penetrine oil. PS: Not sure but I may have a Psngr washer jet amongst me stu :Dff. Give me a cple a days to check. Will advise you PM ok. Regards: Alan.

  18. G'day Craig, Ive taken the kick down switch out of my project car for you, as I have to do some soldering myself anyway. I will mail the switch today don't worry about postage, the info & enjoyment I get from "The Site" more than off sets this cost just remember to send a Donation to it. From what I see by your pics the small white cnctr terminal that is situated just below where the kick down switch is where you connect the switch to. There is a red/white trce wire & also a green/white trace wire fitted into this trmnl this is where you cnct the k/down switch wires to. For some reason the cnctn termnls are dfrnt so you will have to change them to suit. When you remove your switch best to use a Shifter to hold switch itself as the brkt that holds it is not the strongest & will flex, there is a nut that locks the switch in place on back of this brkt. You will need a 17ml ring spanner prfrbly to loosen it. This was how I rmvd my switch. Don't know what the other wire is could have been for something not normally in car, check to see where it is attached to & if it is still active. Looking at your plcs Iwould be checking the heater unit out to as the signs don't look good "Rust ,etc" is something to be concerned about Regards: Alan.
  19. Agean, By the way there is another kick down unit in place which comes from the manifold down to the gear box itself. If your switch is stuffed let me know. Have one here somewhere.Yours for a donation to site & postage. LOL. Regards : Alan.

  21. Yer darn tootin! i'm right . Been there & done it. LOL. No disrespect intended Ben & Benny. Regards :Alan.
  22. If you remove the plastic shroud covering your Igntn switch etc, you can reach behind the igntn barrel & gently prise the connector case from the switch unit, should slide off without much trouble. This will enable you to do the following. The white /red wire is the active supply wire, from this wire run a temporary supply/loop wire to the blue/red - green/white-black/white wires this will give supply to car normally provided by Igntn switch when turned on. If you wish you can start car by using another temp wire from red/white main to black/yellow which activates starter motor, but I chose not to start mine by the latter method instead opting to use a small screw driver across main battery terminal cnctn at starter motor to black/yellow cnctn on throw out unit but be quick to move screw driver clear once car kicks over. Hope this works ok for you it did for me. By the way this is how a lot of Zeds are stolen that is why it is wise to have a kill switch or even better, a good "IMMOBILIZER" fitted. Regards: Alan.
