  1. Had a similar problem to yours. The dist you bought was it an electric unit or points set up. Also have you checked the following items out. Compression test (Blown head gskt) , Spark plug leads (Faulty), Crct spark plugs (essential), Distrbtr cap (cracks/ corrosion), Coil (dfctve), Carbie's (Float units). Suitable main needles, Fuel pump & filter. Just for starters. Also do not alter oil pump at this stage, to check if the Distribtr is out 180* simply change the distrbtr leads so that the #1 Pstn on the distrbtr cap is occupied with the #6 lead & reset your other leads accordingly. 6 2 4 1 5 3 then test it by starting.Simplest way I know of how to check this out.   5. After the globe holders & wiring units for the rear tail light set up. Both sides. Coupe or 2+2 .I believe the're interchangeable. Regards :Alan. =2

  10. :-\ Hey fellas seeing that we are supposedly on the same page as each other (helping/assisting) each other.Do you think that we may be able to establish a price range of the different items that we wish to sell to make life so much simpler so that we don't get into the" E bay" concept of things.   13. Hey Stivva your in luck, I remember seeing two units amongst my Z collections, stalks are damaged but I think you will acquire what you need .   16. Thanks Dimitri for info, whats the drama's in fitting this . With the Civic unit can I use the existing actuating arms to wiper blades. Tried to get access to thread suggested but no luck. Regards :Alan.
  17. G'day Jared, after the two plastic clips plus plastic chrome cover pieces that fit on end of arm rests where they bolt onto door. Also the units that globes fit into that lock into rear tail lights. Both sides if available Regards :Alan.

  20. I'm in the process of fitting a 280 Series one unit. The 280 are 9" Diaphragm, whereas all 260 units are 7 1/2". Also the 260 Master cylndr units bolt on vertically to the booster as doe's the 280 srs1 ,while the 280 srs2 bolts on hrzntly. According to the "Bibles" I have the 260 units should be checked out every couple of years ,while the 280 units require little attention in comparison. Regards .Alan.
  21. Benny,did you get hold of the mchncl fuel pump & 240 fuel line you were after. If not I have a fuel pump & multi rail which you can convert to 240 type without to much trouble. Regards :Alan.

  24. Thanks for your response fella's, got hold of a set of 260's cheap. Have fitted one but can't locate the clips to install the other side. Need about seven clips in total. Don't now where I might buy them from do you. Also you might have problems with fitting 2+2 units as I think you will find they will kink to much when you try to bend them. Regards :Alan.
