  1. Efi hardware make some great full radius velocity stacks and they can be cut to the length you require. http://www.efihardware.com/products/1072/ram-tube-velocity-stack-50-x-150mm
  2. Thanks mate, It fixed the vibration, Yay! I may do the same with the g/box crossmember, that way everything is captive and will last for a very very long time. Marugen Shokai works style rear spoiler finally arrived. Wow, it was worth the wait. Best quality fibreglass I've ever seen, finish is great and looks ready for paint straight out of the box Those others that ordered this will be very happy campers! With a bit of luck I'll get it painted this weekend
  3. Hehehe. What sort of hp increase does the nitrous give?
  4. The driving difference is night and day!
  5. I run 16x8+0 Konig rewinds on my car. With Pirelli P6000 225/50/16 road tyres they went under stock guards front and rear. When I switched to 225/50/16 semi slicks I had to roll the rear guards as the lips caught.
  6. Good news Mark! Let me know if you're looking for any bits.
  7. Mello Yellow build from star road. 360hp from a car with a stock engine fan and air con?
  8. IIRC the 240z hubs are a thinner by 9mm. Glad to see its all come together, I went throught the same issue with the hilux upgrade, but needed the 260 hubs for clearance..
  9. They are the EFI hardware full radius type. My airbox tapers front to rear, with 25mm clearance to the bellmouth I can fit 105mm long stacks on 1,2,3,4 carbs. Then only 80 or 90mm max on stacks for carbs 5 and 6. The taper is much more dramatic at the back. So if I allow 35mm that will be 95mm for carbs 1-4. Then 70-80mm for carbs 5-6
  10. Whoa some fast times there! Is Gordo in this new mysterious car? hehe
  11. Hi guys, just wondering if anyone knows the minimum clearance a velocity stack needs at the face before restrictions start to occur? I've read 25mm somewhere before. I'm fitting the new airbox to my FCR's, it's going to require shortening of stacks on carbs for cylinder 5&6. I'll be running 105mm on cylinders 1-4 and then 80-90mm on 5&6. Although not ideal will it cause any real issues? Cheers, Gareth. # Edited stack lengths.
  12. Thanks for the offer Gareth, but I'm very happy with my setup.
  13. When I did my alum manifold for the FCR carbs I bolted the flange to a spare head to try to stop any warpage. Worked very well, the flange didn't need any surfacing after, probably depends on how it's welded too. My flange was 16mm thick to match the stainless headers. Simons idea sounds really good.
  14. Thanks guys
  15. Yep it goes right down to the white base coat peeled off with the number like bad sun burn
  16. What the best way to fix the clear coat on my door? I peeled off a number and the clear came with it :'( it's DeBeers 2pac
  17. I'll do my best to get there, it's been a few years since I last made it. There's going to be plenty of Z candy from the sounds of it Also Gordos new race Z sounds very interesting!
  18. So unless you drive damn hard on track or targa events it will be next to impossible to tell the difference, right? I know mine locks fully on track/street as I've seen the tyre marks on corner exit, it locks both wheels on gravel too. The only time it went open was when I snapped the stub axle, I'm glad it did too. I can't rotate one wheel if the wheel is jacked up and when it's on stands with both wheels will only rotate in the same direction. Can't recall what brand it is but it's definitely a torsen :-\
  19. I run a torsen in my R180, I find it a lot smoother than the clutch pack style on the track and on the road. I find there's a lot less 'push' on turn in. Also they are silent, you won't know it's there, where the clutch pack can clunk as it locks and unlocks.
  20. I think Jason (Dat2kman) bought a few sets from him to sell a while ago?
  21. I butchered my shifter, I needed a big offset and only used the lower knuckle of the RB shifter. The other %90 is L series stick.
  22. Nice, Like the diamond pattern much more now it's in the car.
  23. Noice Like the color combo and GT stripes. I've had the centring washers on my front/rear bars since I've owned it (10yrs) with no problems. What are the details on this R32 brake setup, looks to be a very simple and powerful upgrade! Plenty of readily available spares and multiple performance pad options too. EDIT: Geez that SK inlet manifold is a nice bit of kit!
  24. Looking good How did the diamond pattern trans tunnel end up, also the head lining?
  25. What sort of welder do you use Dave? Wish I had those skills! If that shifter is rubber bonded you can separate it, then re-weld it in one solid piece, it'll improve the shift feel by a mile. My R32 shifter was the same style, initially it was a little dull, afterwards it has a very firm/direct feel.
