all cars featured I had seen before the rb26 was the one pitted against a viewer designed/voted 370z on a track, the road kill z, I think the orange one is the sr20 car owned by a speedhunter photographer? and the black one i have seen doing burnouts on YouTube:) wouldve loved to see a proper comparison of them all and how all these variations stacked up against each other in proper trials/drags........oh well

yeah i watched this yesterday..........what a waste of time...........have no clue why they put this together, could have been so much better.......burnouts in reverse, failed attempts to drift.....i just didnt get it haha

So the 260 was supposed going to the shop for the new 45s to be installed and tuned today. Went to start it up and its turning over spluttering and then nothing.......so i can be a little more efficient with problem solving i'd like to get some views on diagnosis....... im thinking either bad spark plugs, coil or blocked fuel lines or pump........anything else i should check? compression?

There are some really good cars coming up at the moment I really hope they go to enthusiasts and not cashed up posers...that have them for 5 years and sell them in half the condition they were bought. Good luck with the sale.

Ordering a set of new Webers this week and want to know what info besides cam specs I should provide the dealer so they can jet them accordingly. Head flow numbers? What else?

haha sorry to say jason but gav has a point put it up here and on my105.com and it will sell quickly:) with a full run down of specs not just lap records it has. was always scratching my head as to why its still for sale as ive seen it in the flesh and on youtube and its a great car. but i haven't seen it advertised on any of the big motorsport sites. I reckon youd get plenty of hits on carsales as the interest in these cars now im sure there would be plenty that would consider turning back into a very quick roadcar

No grabbed it from US ebay......after seeing the rusted shells and broken ones needing restoring and replating i wasnt willing to spend the time when there is so much other mechanical work to do and the restored or Nos ones can reach over 1500 landed.....literally not a mark on it and the shell is in amazing condition for age......was a purchase i wasnt expecting to make but like many z owners i troll the sites and if there is something that i need/want for a good price i cant pass up a bargain haha got the bloke to send me a vid of it working and was a great to deal with.

haha love the analysis of his motivations and his white shirt guys. I just think he has tried to copy love the beast but in a soulless hollywood/westside customs way-no connection to the car as it is to sell brands not a story one thing it lacks is a personal touch.....it doent look as bad as i was expecting actually, after seeing some of the rocket bunny kits i was waiting to see a horrid widebody crazy angled mess......but it doesnt look too bad and that is coming from someone who is a period guy who hates big plastic body kits

short answer yes its not an early 240 or 100% original....knock 10-14 grand off the top and you are in the ball park i reckon. -
on second glance car may still be jacked on that side shot so you might be ok....but if you read every one of the extensive posts on this issue 15x8 0s are the widest without mods but with fat rubber you still need to do some rolling

looking at the side profile of that white car hes gonna have issues cornering under load? stick out a fair way by the looks even with a stretched tire. he is running coil overs which may help clearance on the inside because he wont have the same pearches. if its going to be purely a street car you should be ok but if you want to drop substantially your gonna have to run some pretty stiff springs or some decent camber
