  1. Most important question is how much $$ do you want to spend?
  2. Just curious, is anyone living near or in Mt Druitt in NSW? I have a handlebar from a bicycle I need picked up and packed and sent to me.. I can reimburse all expenses and extra $$ to whoever can help. Thanks in advance....

    HELP

You will need flywheel bolts with "MT" on their heads as the auto ones have "AT" and are shorter. Transmission bolts (bell housing I assume?) for the manual are M12x60. Slave cylinder bolts are M8x30 or 35? Can't remember exactly..
  4. Please, no more name calling....
  5. Welcome Henri With the help of Google... Le meilleur conseil est aussi continuer à économiser de l'argent et posez beaucoup de questions, d'apprendre des erreurs des autres.
  6. Mines at my feet; easy to reach on your own.. Sometimes its not your car that will be on fire.. you could save someone else's pride and joy.
  7. I remember Hella had a rather large multi pin military grade plug/connector with around 50? pins that was water tight and weather proof. Pushes together them has a collar that screws on to hold it together. Would be great for quick engine removal as the engine loom can be disconnected at the firewall rather than disconnecting each plug from injectors etc...Gave away my last Hella catalogue so I cant find part number sorry...
  8. With that yellow 260Z above with the slightly tall tips on it, first check bridge clearances around your area before you fit those to your zed. Anything from 2-1/4" to 3" depending on capacity/mods/type of use will determine size and mufflers fitted.
  9. Thanks to the organizer of the event.. plenty of different cars on show which made it interesting. Loved the bike display; many favorites from the 70' and 80's.
  10. +100 See it at the show..
  11. Should we sticky after confirmation there are no issues with installation and use? Just in case... Brilliant write up David; might have to do it when all the zed boosters are dead and buried.
  12. Welcome... would love to see pics of the zed! Nice and shiny ...
  13. Thats what I remember too... Rotary - Rotisserie - Spinning Chooks... Loved them since a friend of my brother used to race in the "Road Reg" class many years ago in the state rounds and he had a granny spec RX3 Coupe (still with plastic on the door trims and visors and original radio!!) but pretty heavily modified, running inn an engine at Calder on a private day, going for a few laps... first time in a race car. VERY memorable..
  14. Should ask her if she could pose for a quick photo shoot with your zed Chris....imagine...
  15. Welcome again G, was good to catch up at the concourse last couple of weeks ago... You must bring it to the BBBQ..we must see!
  16. depends on whats there now. If its just a 2" pipe, a switch to 2-1/4 or 2.5 with an L28 would be better.
  17. You can lower now without changing wheels... won't make any difference that I can think of. With the exhaust, with stock induction, going to extractors may yield a small increase but nothing neck snapping; When changing carbs / cam then it's a must. For the street, standard is fine.
  18. I'll probably tag along...any meet up points for the faaaaar out east members?
  19. Final pic should be a "before and after" shot. Show the previous owner what he could've owned... haha
  20. Not sure if these ECU's are like the Z32 computers...I remember if they are disconnected for too long the have to re learn and usually have an idle that hunts and not smooth...Just a guess! Its great to hear running at least!
  21. How much would all four brake calipers cost?
  22. Are you trying it without the motor installed in the car? It may be jamming on something and not rotating.
  23. Most of you probably already know, but I'm scrounging the earth looking for this particular "Shogun" mountain bike. I've collected a couple of lower end models of the same era, but this is like the Everest of the models. I'm hoping posting it on this forum, somebody may know of somebody who has it just hanging in their garage or stashed in a shed nice and dry for me to buy and pay some good money for. A pic is below..If you see one, or even better own one, ppplllleeeaaassseeee get in contact with me. It has a red/white/black/chrome paint with Shimano Deore XT components. Tell your friends, family, those neighbours that piss you off...... everyone! Thanks everyone.
  24. That is effin fast Sinisha.. how much quicker would it be with full slicks?
