  1. Well done Michael keep at it so that you can get it on the road and enjoy it, and ignore Lurch's comment...he's just jealous!
  2. After thinking that the weather was going to let us down we ventured out past Frankston to an outstanding location overlooking the sea where the annual Cars of the world show was held. I guess i was a little disappointed with the overall number and variety of cars but it was great to catch up with Ben (Mayhem) Dale (dalee) John (redRB240Z) and meet a few new guys with zeds to whom I waved the Auszcar banner high! John I thought your car was outstanding, and Ben's turbo Rb and Dales Supa clean 240 also looked awesome, real headturning Zed showpieces, well done guys! The Jap car award went to a roadster so I thought that the guy who won would be pleased however I question the objectivity of the judges in this class! There were a couple of Zeds who were more worthy of the award....but, we were there more for the fun of it anyway. Be great to see a few of these days on the calender for 2009. Sorry I didn't get many pics, maybe Mayhem and Dale could post some of theirs. Rev.
  3. PM sent.
  4. Hey guys, well I have decided to resurrect another 260z 2+2, it's actually the one my son started but is unable to finish (low number 74 model). I need a couple of parts particularly drivers side door and a dash, the dash can be cactus (don't need the frame) as I want to have a go at restoring one myself rather than send it to the dashboard doctor. If anyone can help let me know. Thanks in advance. Rev.

  10. Hey Bruce, well I was all set to go out and then...............realised that all my big mouthing that if I find a 260 2 seater I'll sell my RevZed beast was more hot air than I could afford! so rather than be tempted I decided not to go! sounds like a confessional!
  11. I know this is kinda illegal, but this is a BUMP It's easier to ask for forgiveness rather than permission! Any more takers for Cars of the world? Rev.
  12. Ben, It's definitely show worthy, there are two classes one for concourse type stuff and I'm putting mine in the show & shine. Probably won't win but it's a lot of fun with a good opportunity to see other cars and allow folks to admire your hard work, cmon have a go! Rev.

  22. As someone running triple Mikuni's and beginning to get somewhat of a handle on them, I would suggest that if you were looking to race more than street then go with 44's but 40's will still dump plenty of fuel to a 3.1 and remain both streetable and trackwise. Rev.
  23. My wife is now going to a wedding in Brisbane on the 6th, however if i can organise some help with the kids, I'm there!
  24. it was bad enough to make me take out the king springs and modify my old ones for the front, goes good now however I much preferred the 'stance' it had when we lowered it. I'd like to take it back to that if you have any ideas?
